What are the bed size options in a standard room? DS occasionally has accidents at night and I want to bring a plastic waterproof mattress cover for our upcoming trip.

Also Is it possible to catch fireworks or WOC from any of the standard rooms at DLH?

Does he move a lot when he sleeps? My kids have a waterproof pad, one from the hospitals that would be under you, they are about 28" square and work great. I've never had one of them "miss" the pad. If you see you could make one with PUL for the backing and a flannel top. Washable if he has an accident and wouldn't take up to much room in the suitcase.

I Think I saw some guard type mattress covers on the housekeeping cart at DLH in may of 2011. Best bet is to call direct to DLH and ask guest services. Even if you bring one from home it would need to be washed and if the could supply then it would not take cany time out of your day.

You probably are already aware that little ones have accidents when they are really tired and in deep sleeps. There are some toss away pads that measure 23x36 that you can get at a medical supply store. They are called prevail. They are what hospitals use on beds-- yep even if you don't need lol we all get one.

And if by chance he does have an accident don't worry. My son still has the occasional accident and did have one at our last trip to the DLH. When I stripped the sheets to see what I could do, I noticed that the mattresses are covered by a waterproof pad. It isn't anything that you can feel when sleeping (those mattresses are SO comfortable) but it is a fitted sheet that is waterproof underneath and a sheet on the topside.
No need to fill your suitcase with any pads. My son tossed and turned so much they usually ended on top of him!
An extra tip to housekeeping if this happens would probably be appreciated as well.
