Sorry for starting 2 threads in one day but I was just wondering if all the beds at the DLH are really hard. We stayed there two nights and I couldn't sleep since the beds had no give to them. I actually didn't get any sleep until we switched to the GCH and man what a difference! I was just wondering if all thee beds there are really hard or if we got unlucky. I thought everything about the hotel was wonderful except for that. (We stayed in the dreams tower with a dtd/ park view.)

We stayed in the Wonder tower last May with a resort view, and our bed was lumpy. I had a hard time finding a comfortable position because of the springs poking into my sides. I missed the beds at the GCH!
However, in 2003 we stayed in what is now the Magic tower 1 night and I don't remember the beds being hard then. So, it could be that the beds are getting worn out.

I stayed at the Disneyland Hotel in 2003 and 2005 and the bed felt fine to me. I was in the Marina (I still don't know the new tower names) tower on both of those trips.

I stayed 3 nights at HoJo's then 2 at DLH this last weekend/week. The HoJo premium rooms have great beds so I was slightly concerned about the beds at DLH. I've stayed at DLH over a dozen times but never after staying at another hotel. IMHO, the beds were very comfortable at DLH. I stayed in the Dreams tower, DTD view in the Mickey themed suite

I stayed there for a night in August after staying a 4 nights at the Carousel Inn. I had heard they (CI) had comfortable beds, but I tossed and turned all night....my side or back would hurt here and there and I had to change positions. When I went to the DLH the last night, I slept through the night solidly--- the beds were so comfortable! I definitely noticed a difference and love the beds there. I was in the same tower as the front desk, main lobby area.

We've stayed in all the Towers - on more recent stays, the Wonder and Magic. I was 8.5 months pregnant with my youngest when we had our Wonder room and let me tell you - just fine. My only complaint was that the bed was too high and I had to pull the ottoman up to crawl into it!

Our Magic Tower stay was more recent and they were very comfortable then.

Oh I love the beds there, some of the best nights sleep I've had have been onsite. The beds are high up though! LOL I'm only 5'3", and have to hop up on it. LOL

We stayed there last year. The bed was probably the worst I've ever slept in in my life. Sorry! JMO.
