DLH discounts April/May 2013?

I'm planning our next trip for the last week of April or first week of May (before grad nights).

We'll stay at BWPPI the first few nights then end it at the DLH if funds go right!

When do 2013 DLH discounts or promotions get published?

Anyone have experience with rates there that time of year?

Carsland has thrown all the "normal" patterns out the window. I really wouldn't count on any discounts until at least a year has gone by - if at all. DL and surrounding hotels are booking 95% capacity in what used to be slow seasons. DL is gearing up to start selling X-mas holiday party tickets next year (2013). I realize those aren't your dates but the point is DL is not slowing down, they are definitely ramping it up and charging more. Tickets and AP costs are going up multiple times each year. Rooms are getting booked w/o discounts. They are going to begin enforcing FP return times. Not that it can't happen but I wouldn't advise anyone to count on any discounts anytime soon. Book what you can afford. Sorry.

Side note, the magic shop or whatever it is on Main St in DL--- my son saw the magic 8 ball there last year and had to have it. Ugh. Double the price of Target of course ;-)
