We just purchased our paver and are also in C19. We are so excited! It's cool that so many of us Dis'ers will be in the same area. We'll be there in June to take a picture of where our paver will be and back in October to see the real thing!

I bought two bricks in C19 next to each other for Santa to give my parents and my DD's on Christmas morning for our Christmas trip. Santa will deliver the replica and then we can go searching.

Thanks to the OP. I knew that you could purchase the bricks and I had been indecisive, but closing date of Feb made me just do it.

I love the Christmas morning idea. We aren't telling the kids either. Once it is in place, DH and I will just kind of stall in that area (pretending to be looking for something in our bags, etc) and see if the kids notice it

We surprised the kids with our WDW brick. DH came up with a story, that his friend had a brick, and when he went to see it, it had a mistake on it, etc. Disney agreed to replace it; the friend wanted us to check it, to see if it was actually replaced....... we live in NJ, and the friend would not be in florida for months to look himself. Something along those lines. He just wanted a reason for us to be reading the bricks, I think we just headed for the general area, and made it a game, who can find it first? We knew the brick number of course.

It was very funny when we found it. I remember, the kids were so puzzled. They said, "you spent MONEY to buy a brick at Disney??" Not a good location, out by TTC, we stay onsite, so we never go there (unless we go to visit the brick). This DL brick is different, not so out of the way.

So glad I found this thread...just ordered and got one in C19!! DF and I are getting married at Disneyland this year and what better way to commemorate the occasion! I told DF it's a wedding present to ourselves and that we have to go back at least once a year for the next ten years to see it! He just laughed...guess he doesn't know how serious I am

Thanks so much to the OP for posting about this! I too had thought to get one "someday", but kept putting it off. Could have saved some money if I had ordered when my AP was active!

Anyway, I ordered this week and got C19 also. Was told that our brick would be installed in August.

Just a word of warning. If you fax in the order, you don't hear back until 3 weeks later. I just called this AM to make sure my fax order had gone in. Didn't want to miss the Feb window! The CM was very helpful, and gave me the information about faxing. She then gave me my brick number, installation date, and said my replica would arrive in 12 weeks.

We're taking our DGD in Nov, though she doesn't know it yet. We put her name on the brick, along with ours. Now...how to trick her into looking for it!

I have to confess, I got ridiculously lucky.... I called to ask what designs they had for the bricks, etc. I knew the program was ending this month. I said I was a cast member (TDS) , and the CM on the phone said, "OH, TODAY is the last day for the 40% off CM offer!!" I was like, WHAT?? So I ordered the cast member exclusive design on the spot. (full body of mickey).

It was like it was meant to be. I turned around and blew the $$ saved on a lucite replica.

I just finished placing my order too. I bought two bricks: one for my nephews and one for myself. Both are in C-19 (apparently, it's the place to be lol) and I chose the AP design for both bricks. Thanks to the OP for the heads up!

If anyone is still considering a purchase and would like to order from a CM over the phone, there's only one more day. The woman who helped me mentioned that they don't take phone orders over the weekend, so Monday is your last chance from 8am - 5pm PT. I guess you could still email your order over the weekend if you know all the details. I can't wait to see our bricks in August!

I did the Mickey ears with the date...but thinking about changingto the castle. I like the full Mickey but that is a CM only design.

Oh, I hope you can talk him into it! Even if you get your own brick in the DisBoard section, you can still take photos and check on ours. We would love to see a picture of it before we get to go visit in October.

Thanks again for the maps. I got to share the news about the ride openings for the Little Mermaid and Star Tours with my friend and her 15 family members last night. The rides open on the day we arrive and they are thrilled. I just hope the crowds are manageable. I'm excited about the new attractions and worried about the crowds at the same time. Oh well, I've decided to just go with the flow. It's Disneyland, so I know we'll have a great time no matter what happens.

Good luck convincing the BF to get the paver in C19. Remind him that it's right where Mickey can smile on it every single day of the year. . Let us know what happens!

Update: we ordered the brick over the phone on February 14 and yesterday (Saturday the 26th) we received the information packet in the mail! It came in a large manila envelope - easy to spot in your mail stack. lol

For those curious: Inside it contained our purchase receipt, a certificate showing the DLR logos and a facsimile of the brick, a map where the section is (same map as shown in this thread) and a terms and agreements contract/return envelope (since we ordered the brick by phone, we have to sign and return some paperwork for their copies << anyone who orders by phone take heed! Don't overlook this! ).

Can't wait till Christmas when we can see the paver!!

Yay, DisBoards section!

Yes, hurray for the DisBoards section, C19. Since there are so many of us in that section, now I'm wondering if any DisBoarders will be my "paver neighbors" come August. My brick is number 117. Anyone have a number close to that?
