DL tickets online from Disney issues?

Has anyone else tried to buy DL tickets from the Disney website lately?

I bought eight 3-day park hoppers (6 adults / 2 kids) via the website, got the confirmation, got the PDF of the tickets, but then noticed a refund on my credit card from Disney the day after my card was charged for the tickets.

Disney confirmed my tickets were canceled and refunded but couldn't tell me why.

I have tried over 50 times since to buy the tickets again but keep getting an error message that I need to verify my billing info or try back later. I have tried different combinations of my credit cards, my parents cards, my home PC, my work laptop, different email addresses, everything! And I always get the same error message.

Disney has been no help. They say there is a problem with my credit card and that after too many tries it blocks the charge. But I have tried all my cards and even had relatives try and still the same message.

I want to have my tix in hand and not waste anytime getting to RSR on our first morning.

Any advice?

Have you tried calling you cc company? In cases of rather large charges the companies will assume fraud and cancel the order if it excedes a daily charge limit. It's best to alert your card company prior to large charges. I recall reading numerous posts like this last year right before the AP prices went up. Many had their purchases cancelled because of fraud speculation.

I agree with the PP, many banks will have a daily limit, you can set it with them for security reasons. I get emails from my bank anytime my card is used for more that $500 or used out of the country. Have you been using the same Disney account the whole time? I wonder if after so many tries they just shut down allowing you to order, if you have indeed tried 50 times. Maybe try creating a new account with a separate email and another card? I would start by calling my bank though.

I'd try to buy the ticket from someone else then. There is that online TA that charge $5 less for all the Multi-day passes.

Ya I would try another company like AAA, ares travel, way.com or safeway & definately call you credit card company.

I would check with your CC company to make sure the website is not charging you for things that were never officially ordered. They could lock down your account for suspicious activity, so It's a good move to check for unapproved charges on it. For some reason their website hates my credit card with a passion (even though I've had it for many years and am in good standing with the company). I've had the exact same problems, and had both the CC company and Disney staying it was each others fault, and trading insults with each other (in the end it was the Disney.com website that was at fault). I find it easier to just book the hopper passes with a good TA that I know of. I find it cheaper to get the tickets through her, than on the website and far less headaches. I intend to do this again for my upcoming trip in Nov.

I had the same issue! Disney's site said my visa check card was declined and my bank had no record of them even attempting the charge. I finally used my moms discover card and that worked

Thanks for all the advice. Still doesn't work. I have tried everything...even tried buying 4 tickets instead of 8. Still doesn't work.

I'm gonna try aRes Travel. I started another post asking if anyone has used them. The tickets are cheaper from them then from Disney. Sounds 2 good 2 be true?

Last time I tried to buy an AP through the website, I got a fraud warning on my card and the transaction got declined. I called the DLR ticket sales number and did it that way, and it worked fine.

Well I guess Disney doesn't want your money...oh well their loss... I bouth my knotts tickets from them as they are way cheaper than anywhere else but I haven't used them yet and wont until July.

Ares is a reputable company; I wouldn't hesitate to use them or Getaway Today.
