DL tickets and reservations - April 15!

I started at 7:25a, got in on the vacation package queue 10 minutes ago and booked GC (4/29-5/2 whoo hoo! $735/nt Dear God) & tix, then tried to go to the reservations page, but the wait is "more than one hour." Normal? Just hoping I am in the right queue. This is so stressful!

I'm kind of surprised that NO dates are gone yet. I'd have thought April 30 and June 4 would both go fairly quickly. At this rate, they're not going to "sell out" through the open dates for a loooooooooooooong time. Maybe not at all? Maybe in a week, someone can log in and grab a weekday in May, no problem? I'm curious about this.

Maybe they will rethink the annual pass situation. I kind of hope NO dates sell out.

Not sure which Disney word regarding times is more infuriating: "Soon" or "More than an hour"

Man my group must have the worst luck. There's three of us, each with 4+ queues open that have all been going pre-8am, and every single one is still over an hour

That's us, too. Two different households, multiple browsers/devices, and all still say more than an hour and we've been on since 7am.

My phone is showing my hotel one at 45 minutes, but the same tab on my desktop is still showing "more than an hour"
That was me. I tried transferring my queue code to my desktop from my iPad, but it wouldn't work.
For those of you booking the Grand, let us know if it allows you to purchase tickets too.
I see this has already been answered but yes.
I was able to get through to book the Grand Californian standard room on ~June 20th. ~800/night (without taxes). You are -required- to order tickets. So I ordered 3 day park hoppers and booked the room. Though when you click on 'Theme Park Reservations' it PUTS YOU BACK IN QUEUE.

So waited about 35 minutes for the hotel reservation. Back in queue for the theme park reservation. Waiting time over one hour. =( Beware attempting to get both a hotel and theme park admission due to this design.
You are NOT required to buy tickets. It defaults to adding tickets, but you can uncheck that.

I just booked a room with no tickets.
As Skyegirl1999 pointed out, you are NOT required to buy tickets when making a hotel reservation. I just made my reservation without tickets as I already booked park reservations on the 12th.

I posted the prices for my three nights June1-4 on the other thread in this forum, but prices started at $756 (not including taxes). My deluxe partial view for three nights with taxes was almost $3000. Wow.

How far out are they taking reservations? I checked yesterday and I think you could only go to June. I am looking for August...already have tickets. Thank you!
it's only through June 28 as of now. my guess is that it will move on a rolling 60 day calendar going forward.

That's kinda what I've been thinking - especially once they announced that parkhopping was happening, that Avengers Campus was opening, and that they were accepting Tier 2 1-Days for a few weekdays - I don't think they're worried about capacity.

With no APs, there's a lot of extra room. And a lot of APs are probably just buying 2- or 3-day tickets, hoping that Memberships are coming soon.

I'm assuming there's potentially like 100,000+ tickets over 60 days, too.

Is there a separate queue for reservations and ticket? And both are over an hour (I think yes, but now panicking a bit)?

I was not able to uncheck the box. =( Chalk it up to a website bug. Did it put you back in queue for you to make a theme park revervation like myself? Unfortunate that I could not reserve theme park dates in addition to the hotel booking.

Me too. I don't have ticket numbers, I wonder if they just access my account to make the reservation. I am stressed out!

no, once you buy your tickets click on the Disneyland logo at the top, then scroll down and click on park reservations. you won't need to re-queue.
