DL Sept 16-21 -- what should we know?

Little bummed that SM will be closed but if it takes away the crowed then I guess thats ok. I hope most of the convention people say at there Conventions LOL.

Since it is off-season in September I hope you get short lines for everything! Off-season usually means shorter lines and shorter park hours and cheaper hotels. But it also means more refurbs and reduced entertainment.

Does any one know about parades in September. We'll be there the 23rd to the 28th. Will the Electric parade be gone???? Thanks....

We were there last year and the Electrical Parade was not going. They stop it just after Labor Day.

Also, the Matterhorn was open for us last year and it appears not to be on the chopping block again this year. I can't imagine they would dream of closing it when they have SM already closed.

I would be soooooo bummed if Pirates was down during my trip! Luckily that doesn't seem to be the case! I am actually going the exact same days as the OP! Sept 16-21! We are staying at HOJO and are so excited! Looks like there may be a dis meet on the 17th at 10:30 at carnation cafe if anyone is interested! It's a trip to DL...it will be great no matter what! In the best scenario it will be warm and not crowded but that may not be the case with the 5 for 3 deal and conventions. It will be great though, no matter what, as long as you keep a good attitude!
