Listening to Tony's excitement over finding Dole Whip outside DL park this week... which made me realize... we've had Dole Whip at our soft-serve stands (the little mom-and pop places that are open for the summer up here in NY) ever since I could remember. I thought MOST ice cream stands had it!

So if you want to come up to Syracuse, you can eat CHEAP Dole Whip to your heart's content!

Last summer I found it at Big Dip on Rt 11 in North Syracuse, and at Pete's Polar Parlor on Milton Ave in Fairmount/Camillus. I also heard Hafners in N. Syr usually has it too.

Now I feel the need to go scout the local establishments and report back LOL!

I forgot... I once got orange Dole Whip at SkanEllus Drive In on Rt 20 in Skaneateles!

ETA: I think by far the winner might be Sno Top right in the village of Manlius:

"*The Dole Whip Flavor changes every Tuesday and Friday rotating between:

Chocolate
Strawberry
Pineapple
Orange
Raspberry
Mango"

I might need to head there tomorrow even if the temperature isn't much above 60 this week.
