We will be at DIsneyland from 5/15-5/20. For many of those days Disneyland is scheduled to close at 8:00pm. Also on the schedule is the show that is at "small world" (I don't know the name of it). Is that an actual show? How long is it? Is it crowded? Why would it be scheduled at 8:00pm when the park closes at that time?

Also we've never been on a day the park has closed earlier then 11:00pm. When it closes at 8:00pm, does Main Street still stay open for an extra hour?

What do you think the odds are they will change the hours that week (add an hour to the schedule?)

LASTLY, I just saw that WOC is scheduled at 9:15pm when the park closes at 9:00pm. How does that happen??

I believe the times for the shows are because it needs to be dark to view them so therefor the at closing or after closing times being given.

Main Street always stays open for an extra hour.

In the past when something was scheduled at closing time, all the rides, eateries, etc were closed and only the show was on and also Main Street stores are open.

As far as the park hours. May is the off season and during the week the park closes at 8. I wouldn't expect them to extend hours.

I just saw the "show" Weds. night, at 8 pm. It was ok. Honestly, I would have preferred it to be darker........ The thing was interesting, but the photos flash SO fast you can barely register them in your mind...... just my opinion.

There seemed to be more strollers in the area then people/ many of the strollers were empty, not sure what rides the kids were on? By the end the strollers were claimed.

The show at IASW is Magical Memories and it features projections of the day's guests on IASW along with some other picture technology. It's not unusual for DLR to schedule things at park closing. You'll still be able to enjoy the show and take your time exiting.

You can find videos of "The Show" on Youtube.
