When I was in high school (before DCA was around) our drill team stayed at the DLR every year. I remember the night life being so much fun. There was a bar with line dancing and in the middle by all the pools were shops and entertainment, etc. It was a cool place to sit and hang out with all our friends. We danced to local bands a few times. Besides eating at Goofy's kitchen I haven't really checked out the grounds. Does this still go on or has it changed a lot??

The country bar with line dancing is gone. I think it was the "neon cactus" or something like that. I know I had a drink or two there in the early to mid 90's. Not sure what the nightlife is at the hotel these days. But, I sure you can find plenty to keep you busy in downtown disney!

There is a lot more to entertain you now! When we go, my friends and I like to hang out at the Uva bar (until closing), then we move to the Lost Bar.

The House Of Blues is there as well. And Ralph Brennen's jazz kitchen.
