DL Half Tech Shirts

Did anyone else find the sizing of the tech shirts to be off? I ordered an X-Small because I thought the shirts were unisex sizes. From the Rock 'n' Roll series, I'm used to unisex XS still being too big. The DL 1/2 XS is very short and tight, more what I would expect a womens XS to be. Normally, this would be a good thing except the sleeves on the XS are huge... they come down to my elbows! It's like they took the sleeves from an XL shirt and put it on the XS.

So anyone else have this problem, or did I just have the bad luck to get the one shirt in the bunch that was sown incorrectly?

I noticed the same thing. I got an xs because that's what I got last year. The xs last year was huge! This year's shirts looked like the ones from wdw in january. I got a small in january because they didn't offer xs, which would've fit better. Or so I thought. When I got home, I compared this year's xs to last year's xs and the difference is huge. This year's is a lot shorter and narrower. Aside from the sleeves, it looks like it is an xxs compared to last year's shirt. I'm sure it will fit me fine, aside from the shortness, when I get back to my normal size, but still. The difference shouldn't be that drastic from last year...

The larger sizes seemed to run bigger this year. Mine will be a good shirt for the gym.

I haven't tried mine on yet, but I got a small. I hope it is not huge. I hate the way they keep changing the sizes on them.....

They were out of smalls when I got to the expo, so I took an XS. I noticed the same problem: very short in the torso and VERY long, baggy sleeves. I, too, had wondered if I'd grabbed the one defective shirt in the bunch. It makes me feel better to know there are at least two of us!

Yes, what is up with the women's shirts this year???! Last year, I said I wanted a women's cut for 2009. They made one but the cut is not good. I got XS and the sleeves go down to my elbow, while the body of the shirt is more fitted and short. The cut is unlike any shirt I've ever seen. The sleeves should not be as long as they are for how short the shirt is. I think I'm going to see if I can alter the sleeves on it.

It makes me feel better too, to know I'm not the only one. I did a free 5k last night at the local running store and my BF convinced me to wear my DL shirt. Once I rolled the sleeves up it wasn't thatbad, but next time I'll have to use safety pins so they stay up.

I have determined that the shirts are not for wearing. I don't like the fit of my L. I didn't even know there were women's cut shirts. Those usually always run small. My L is bigger than usual. Go figure.
