DL gift cards used in WDW?

Can anyone tell me, can the Disney gift cards you buy in DL or DTD be used in WDW?

Yes you can use Disney gift cards at either park. We have done just the opposite - using Disney gift cards purchased in DW at DL.

I was thinking of buying some in December at DL for the kids going to WDW in February next year. That deals with Christmas presents.
