For some of you who visit DL often, in different times a year, a quick question.
I was just there this August for a busy three-day visit where we spent about 48 hours in the parks and did just about everything...twice. I thought I had my DL fix for a while (I live on the East Coast).
But my husband has been invited to a work event in Dana Point and wants me to go with him. I hemmed and hawed and he said, "Well, we could go back to Disneyland without the kids."
My first thought was that we just did the parks in fine style, and I didn't need to go back right away. Then I thought about how nice it would be to go back without the hordes, and really get to enjoy the ambiance and walk around without having to dodge my way around 60,000 of my closest friends. So I checked the Touring Plans crowd calendar, and the three days I am considering (right before and after the work event), all weekdays the first week of November, are all ranked 1 or 2.
So - sorry for the ramble - here is my question. Do you think these predictions are accurate? It seems I've seen some people on here saying that Touring Plans is just using historical models for DL, and that the predictions aren't really reliable. I know you can never say for sure, but does anyone know whether that first week of November is really a ghost town at DL?
