I will be arriving tomorrow morning at 10 in SoCa for business. So I have the entire afternoon and am considering going to DL. What will the crowds be like tomorrow? Is it worth putting out $63 from 12 until about 8? The close at 11 but I don't think I will stay that late.

Thanks!

Well, if you can go tomorrow, i would suggest going tomorrow. Esp if your leaving at 8, you will miss the fireworks and Fantasmic :(

If you cant go tommorow, go in today :) Im going in today just because i need to buy some stuff for a friend... dang friend XD

I would probably skip the fireworks & parade and just hit the attractions. I just saw another post about big crowds this week though so am concerned. Any others? Should I go?

I just got back from DLR. I was there all day Friday and a partial day today. Friday started slow, but grew to be very crowded. It still remained manageable IMO - primarily because I had stocked up on FastPasses all morning to get me through the evening, as well as taking a nice afternoon break over at DCA. (I also didn't attempt Pirates, which had hour+ waits all day long.)

It seemed to me that the crowd today started earlier and grew much quicker. By noon, there were long lines for everything (45-60 minutes for all the major rides). I did notice on my final ride on Space Mountain (about 2:00p) that they were still issuing FastPasses - but they were for 7:00p tonight!

The weather has been gorgeous, and the Halloween promotion is obviously bringing people to the Park in droves. I'd expect another fairly huge turnout on Sunday.

We were there on Wed, the 11th, and I was surprised by the large crowds. :confused3 Very unusual for a weekday. I heard from several visitors that AZ schools were on fall break that week so that may explain it. Also, Disney is heavy promoting the Halloweentime at DL. It seems like all the AP are going to check it out.

If your only choice is to go Sunday, or not at all, I would go Sunday. If you can go another day, that would be my pick. If you go Sunday, get there at opening (and NO, they don't let you in early-you'll have to wait in the line to get in) Still, you'll be able to ride alot of rides first thing, before the 11 a.m crowds arrive. Added-Ooops, just re-read your OP and saw your getting there at noon.

Personally, when I go on a weekend, I arrive at opening and stay til it gets crowded. But then that's the benefit of having an AP. I plan on going one day this week as my DD7 is on min. day all week long. That's another thing to consider for anyone thinking of going next week. The Corona-Norco SD elementary schools are all on min. day for the entire week due to Parent/Teacher conferences. That may affect the crowd levels as many of us here in Corona have AP.

Have a great time!
