:tigger: Ok this is for all that are visiting DL during the week this week.
I have heard the crowd reports for the past couple weeks and they sound kinda crazy.
So for those of you who go this week when you return or if you have time to log in while staying at the resort can you please give some updates on the crowds this week????

Based on what others are saying I know at least last week was crazy as some said and even worse than in the peak summer hours.

I will be taking my daughter who has been sick for months and was recently diagnosed with an auto immune disease down to celebrate her 12th B-day on Friday the 19th and I will have to rent a wheel chair for her as this disease has caused her to lose 20 lbs and become very weak so she will need some helping getting around and I know that even when the park is not that crowded it can be hard to move around with a wheel chair.

Any and all trip reports from this week will be great!

TTFN and thanks again!

I am bumping this up because I would like to know the answer, too.

Best wishes for your daughter's recovery and I wish you a magical trip!

Thanks so much for giving this a good old bump up to the top again.

I am dying here for some trip reports and I know some of our fellow DISers are out there at DL right now so I can't wait until they get a chance to get back to their PCs and give us an update.

Oh and thanks so much for wishing us a good time and for my daughter to get better:goodvibes

my husband reported crowds today were half of what they were last week. walk on or 5 min wait for all rides including indy. (except for nemo, of course)

That's great to hear! We're going on Friday and the crowd reports lately have scared me. Glad to hear it's calmed down.

Thats great I hope the crowds stay that way the whole week!
We are going Friday and it will be nice to have light crowds at least for a good part of the day. I know after 3pm it will get crowded no matter what because it is a Friday.
Thanks for the update and for others that keep going this week keep those updates coming!

Thanks again.

We just got back and I thought the crowds were pretty bad yesterday. Indy was still closed (DW was so bummed!) I saw the Nemo line pass the 90 minute wait time. Haunted Mansion and Pirates seemed to stay right around 15 - 20 minutes and Splash mountain was showing about 30 minute waits all day.

What happened to the slow season?

On Monday, I thought the crowds seemed heavy. It didn't seem like an 'open at 10am' sort of day. Some of the cast members that we talked to said that they were surprised by the size of the crowd that day.

We didn't do any rides after EE was over, it was our plan to just take it easy anyway and go to shops and shows, but the reader board had alot of wait times around half an hour or so around noon.

Indiana Jones IS open now. It opened late.

Ok I am going to bump this up in hopes that those returning from a day at the park today will be able to give a crowd report for the day.

Thanks to all those for your great reports can't wait to see how the rest of the week goes.
Friday can't come soon enough for us we have been singing all the disney songs around the house the past couple days like:

I'm leaving tomorrow about 2pm! I will have my laptop and will post a few times regarding crowds, weather, etc...

You can't miss us! 9 girls ranging in age from 8 to 62, one in a wheelchair and one in an ECV!!!

I just got back and it was PACKED. All weekend was busy but we thought Monday would be light cuz it didn't open till 10! WRONG. It was as bad as any weekend day. Indy was still down with no end in sight and LOTS of break downs. Many rides broke down several times. In fact buzz broke down with us on it and we actually had to walk out of the ride in the middle. Kind of cool to see it with the light on though! :) And Billy Fan I went and saw the Billy Hill show!! Loved it!!!

They had to cancel the Jedi show twice on Monday because of heavy fog! But hey my daughter won the scream contest at DCA so that was cool! :)

We had a blast at the Mickey's halloween treat but we did get rained on. Very crowded though!

Glad to hear you liked the Billys!!! I can't wait to see them tomorrow!

Ok I am going to bump this up so that we can get some more trip reports for this week.

Its Thursday so I am sure we can get some crowd reports for Tuesday and Wednesday.

We were there Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The crowds were more than I hoped for, but okay. Sunday was crowded. We got there shortly after opening and were able to ride the Fantasyland side of the Matterhorn 4 or five times in a row with a short wait. The Tomorrowland side was packed. The crowds picked up significantly by 10am.

Monday was more crowded than I expected. We got there for the last few minutes of early entry. The crowds were initally as bad as Sunday - but they never got as packed heading toward the afternoon. Early on Sunday we waited 20 to 25 minutes on Splash. On Monday it the wait was 35 minutes in the late morning. But HM and POTC seemed lighter.

Tuesday morning things were a little less crowded. But I also noticed that the they might have been trying to help the crowd levels. Example - before lunch 4 trains running on BTMRR. The wait was only 7 minutes are so. They did pull one train off and start running just 3. Also on Tuesday I returned to the park with one child to get dinner for my husband and the other child who were closing down the park in the Nemo line. We were able to stop in tomorrowland and view the parade as it started. It was not a front row spot - but it was against the rail behind a fenced off tree area. I have never had such a good parade viewing spot just walking up.

We leave tomorrow and I called DVC member services to see if we could get upgraded to club level at PP or one of the other DL resorts. MS said that all of the DL hotels are booked solid for the entire weekend! Who knew it would be this busy in October!
