Can anyone tell of their experience at Dixie Stampede? We are considering this show for an upcoming trip. Also, we have a DD4. Is there anything in the program that might scare her?
Thanks for your help in advance.

Went last year. It was a typical dinner show. They have a lot of animals in the show, buffalo, ostriches, horses, pigs. I don't remember anything that was scary about the show. The whole idea of the show is the north is against the south. There is some audience participation with that, like stomping your feet to make your side the loudest. Food was pretty much standard for a dinner show.

I've been to Dixie Stampede a couple of times and there is nothing in the show that would scare a child. It's very family oriented with lots of humorous touches.

One note: take a sweater or a light jacket. It can be chilly in the theater area.

Thanks for the help. We hope to include this show on one of our future trips.

We went to Dixie Stampede last month and our whole family loved it. My sons are 10 and 14. We are going back to Orlando this weekend and my older son has been bugging me to go back to DS. Trust me, if they can please a teenager, they can please anyone;)

In previous visits we have also done Medieval Times and Arabian Nights. We liked DS even better (although we thought AN was very good).

Nothing scary for a 4 y/o. Very family friendly. Be sure to get there early enough to catch the full preshow. It also was very good.
