Divas, Zebra Domes, and Pixie Dust! A Week in an African Paradise! New TR Link Pg.145

Mr Toad? Obviously I'm not a tenured WDW attendee like some others! We were so happy on our Adventures of Pooh ride. ;)

Too bad Charles decided to miss such a yummy supper at DHS. That does sound scrumptious! That cake looks super delish!

Love the story of the late night man. You had a certain knack for stumbling across the party-ers - or maybe they're all just attracted to AKL. You're the one who had a dude sleeping by the pool early in the morning, right? :lmao:

Hopefully Connor didn't hold the missed breakfast with Baylor over your head for too long!

I still miss Mr. Toad as well. But I enjoy Winnie the Pooh, and I am glad that you enjoyed your first ride in a hunny pot! :) I think Fantasyland will always be my favorite. It is the first "land" I associate with Disney World. :rotfl:

It looks like thingstill worked out for you! You were able to still get a breakfast and got a TON done early in Fantasyland! Good job! Can't wait to see some Tinkk pix!

Looks like you guys had another great day!

(And your Food and Wine trip is getting closer and closer, whoo hoo!)

Poor Conor, but I don't blame you for letting them sleep.

I had only ridden Mr. Toad's ride once before it was changed to Pooh, so I didn't have any attachment to it. I remember liking it though. But, I love Pooh. I am glad you tried it.

Oh, I'm sorry you missed CP, and that Connor was upset about not getting to see Baylor!! That doesn't always start the morning out on a good foot, hopefully things get better throughout the day. Boma is a GREAT breakfast substitute, no Baylor, but still delicious!

The pics of the kids on the carousel are really sweet. Glad you were able to overcome the loss of Mr. Toad. ;) Was it kind of a similar track ride to Pooh? I always hear of it, but never knew what it was really...

No Charles again this morning, don't you wish they made half day passes?

Sorry about Crystal Palace - sometimes Moms make mistakes, too.:sad2: How could you have known it would be so important to Connor? Oh, well. Love the pics of Fantasyland - it just is Disney World to me. Back in 2001, we rode Peter Pan's Flight about 700 times - DD didn't want to ride anything else! She can't wait to ride it again in Sept, but at least she wants to try some others this time!:goodvibes

I'm wondering if the face painting comes up in the next chapter. I noticed the kids are wearing the same clothes as in your signature picture.

Okay!!! All caught up finally! Between your TR and WigD's TR GOOD grief!

OH I am glad that you got the Hunny Pot ride! I miss Toad's ride, too, but I love watching DS's with Pooh and friends!

RE dinner, what a saga, it is a good thing that you are going back for the FWF... you will get your fill of great eats I guarantee! Now I am starting to "get" why this trip is happening... sounds like a bit of DH redemption if you ask me... :rotfl:

Those green men are a hoot! have you seen the disney racer green man? SO cute! I bought DS4 the Tshirt with the three eyes... he looks so funny in it. I was thinking it would be a great halloween costume....

Oh the CP, CP??!! You missed the Crystal Palace? BUT Boma for breakfast sounds good too! I hope you caught up with Wigd and company anyhow?!

Okay, now I am ready for the next post! :surfweb:

What is happening to your ADRs? l leave for two updates and they all get messed up ;) I'm now wondering what you are going to do with all these left over credits!!! ;) :rotfl:

Hey CP!!!! Great update....I LOVE FANTASYLAND!!!! You made my heart smile just thinking about those lovely rides!!!! I hope you see TINK!!!

another guy with a beer bottle..in the morning? Too bad you don't have a pic of him. I might know him....;)

I love Fantasyland as long as it isn't crowded.

I am so excited that you are doing AKL next summer -- you will love, love, love it! Breakfast at Boma is delicious! Lots of traditional breakfast foods for picky eaters and a lot of different, fun foods to try for the more adventurous. :goodvibes

Morning EMH in Fantasyland is the very best for us. We do it all in under two hours and are walking toward the Haunted Mansion as the crowds pour in.

If we get a late breakfast, will there be zebra domes? :)
I'm thinking that I'll have a better chance of getting my crew there for breakfast, even though I'd really like to try it for dinner. I'll take what I can get!

I was looking at Jill's Food and Wine brochure last weekend. Canada didn't list the Maple Custard. That stuff was so good, and I was looking forward to having it again. It just said Maple Candy. :upsidedow We were talking about some of the things we were going to try. It's exciting to know that we get to do MNSSHP and F&W!

All caught up now! Don't beat yourself up too much about not going to breakfast at the CP. I probably would have done the same thing. Sometimes you gots to do whats ya gots to do. Chelsea looks tres chic in her sunglasses. Good for you for riding Pooh! I never knew/rode Mr. Toad's Wild Ride so I don't know what I missed. I'll have to do like Wigd and YouTube it! Love those happy smiling faces on the carousel! I, too, noticed no mention of Charles but glad to hear he caught up later.

There were times during our trip I WISH Clay had pulled a Charles. :rotfl: :rotfl: Only thing is, I can't chalk his behavior up to high/low blood sugar. Sometimes he's just a butthead. LOL

Well I would have probably let them sleep too. Who knew they would then wake up and be bummed. I hope maybe you meet up with your pals later?

And no Charles? Man I'm beginning to think he dislikes Disneyworld as much as my Grumpy does.....

Allyson

I am coming to the sad realization that Charles will never love Disney World like I do. :(

Seee. you try to do a favor and look what happens. hehe for now on its early rising! hehe I would of been sad myself to miss Crystal Palace- that was one of my favorite meals.
But Boma is also very yummy. And it is good to relax and sleep on to refresh.
I've never road Toads- but I'm not a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh.

We have eaten at CP once over the years -- we keep making plans to go back.

We thought Winnie the Pooh was pretty cute -- I liked the Heffalumps and Woozles the best!

Jackie, having never road Mr. Toad's Wild Adventure I did the next best thing. I went to youtube and rode it there! I would have loved to have been on it in person!:cutie:

Do you know that as soon as I read this, I went over to youtube to ride Mr. Toad's? Why did I never think of doing that before???

The more I read these posts, the more I realize that you DIS Moms are truly amazing people! I don't think many people understand the time or effort that most of you put into having an amazing vacation with your children!

I look forward to the day when I can share WDW with Children! Until then, I live vicariously through all of you, and learn from your ups and downs. Kudos to you all! I look forward to reading more...:worship:

Ah, thank you so much! :goodvibes I know for me, I love planning because I love thinking about WDW when I am not there. :goodvibes

Mr Toad? Obviously I'm not a tenured WDW attendee like some others! We were so happy on our Adventures of Pooh ride. ;)

It was a cute little ride -- there are a lot of great memories from my childhood attached to Mr. Toad and his wild driving.

Too bad Charles decided to miss such a yummy supper at DHS. That does sound scrumptious! That cake looks super delish!

It was very delicious!

Love the story of the late night man. You had a certain knack for stumbling across the party-ers - or maybe they're all just attracted to AKL. You're the one who had a dude sleeping by the pool early in the morning, right? :lmao:

Yes, that was me, too -- what I had to go through to get my coffee!

Hopefully Connor didn't hold the missed breakfast with Baylor over your head for too long!

Once he ate at Boma, Connor was in better spirits.

I still miss Mr. Toad as well. But I enjoy Winnie the Pooh, and I am glad that you enjoyed your first ride in a hunny pot! :) I think Fantasyland will always be my favorite. It is the first "land" I associate with Disney World. :rotfl:

I always think of Adventureland at twilight. Go figure! :lmao:

It looks like thingstill worked out for you! You were able to still get a breakfast and got a TON done early in Fantasyland! Good job! Can't wait to see some Tinkk pix!

I was so proud of our sweep through Fantasyland!

Looks like you guys had another great day!

(And your Food and Wine trip is getting closer and closer, whoo hoo!)

We did! And it is! To tell you the truth, it is sneaking up on me!

Poor Conor, but I don't blame you for letting them sleep.

I had only ridden Mr. Toad's ride once before it was changed to Pooh, so I didn't have any attachment to it. I remember liking it though. But, I love Pooh. I am glad you tried it.

I am glad we rode Pooh also -- it was cute!

Oh, I'm sorry you missed CP, and that Connor was upset about not getting to see Baylor!! That doesn't always start the morning out on a good foot, hopefully things get better throughout the day. Boma is a GREAT breakfast substitute, no Baylor, but still delicious!

After Connor got a whole lot of Boma breakfast into him, he was in a better mood.

The pics of the kids on the carousel are really sweet. Glad you were able to overcome the loss of Mr. Toad. ;) Was it kind of a similar track ride to Pooh? I always hear of it, but never knew what it was really...

I think it is a very similar track -- I would not be surprised to hear that it is the same track with different theming. Maybe not, though...

No Charles again this morning, don't you wish they made half day passes?

A half-day pass is exactly what Charles needed on this trip. Actually, if they still made the ticket books, that's what would have been best.

I think Peter Pan is probably my favorite Fantasyland ride of them all -- there is just something about soaring over London and Neverland in our own pirate ship that is just so much fun! :goodvibes

I'm wondering if the face painting comes up in the next chapter. I noticed the kids are wearing the same clothes as in your signature picture.

If not the next chapter, very soon...;)

Okay!!! All caught up finally! Between your TR and WigD's TR GOOD grief!

OH I am glad that you got the Hunny Pot ride! I miss Toad's ride, too, but I love watching DS's with Pooh and friends!

My two enjoyed it a lot although they were cracking up because I knew the words to all the songs. :rolleyes1

RE dinner, what a saga, it is a good thing that you are going back for the FWF... you will get your fill of great eats I guarantee! Now I am starting to "get" why this trip is happening... sounds like a bit of DH redemption if you ask me... :rotfl:

Mmmmhmmm -- I think it is Charles's way of getting out of the Disney doghouse. ;)

Those green men are a hoot! have you seen the disney racer green man? SO cute! I bought DS4 the Tshirt with the three eyes... he looks so funny in it. I was thinking it would be a great halloween costume....

I have not seen the Disney racer LGM -- I need to remember to keep an eye out for it this next time.

Oh the CP, CP??!! You missed the Crystal Palace? BUT Boma for breakfast sounds good too! I hope you caught up with Wigd and company anyhow?!

Okay, now I am ready for the next post! :surfweb:

Yes, we missed the CP :sad2:.

Fun morning! We love CP and are regretting not doing it this year.

I regret cancelling it as well.

What is happening to your ADRs? l leave for two updates and they all get messed up ;) I'm now wondering what you are going to do with all these left over credits!!! ;) :rotfl:

Oh, we used our breakfast credits for Boma -- so we just have Charles's two TS from the Brown Derby -- not too horrible.

Hey CP!!!! Great update....I LOVE FANTASYLAND!!!! You made my heart smile just thinking about those lovely rides!!!! I hope you see TINK!!!

Hi, Jen! You will be there experiencing Fantasyland in exactly one month!!! :yay:

another guy with a beer bottle..in the morning? Too bad you don't have a pic of him. I might know him....;)

If only I had the nerve to get a picture!!! :lmao:

Morning EMH in Fantasyland is the very best for us. We do it all in under two hours and are walking toward the Haunted Mansion as the crowds pour in.

That's a great idea!

If we get a late breakfast, will there be zebra domes? :)
I'm thinking that I'll have a better chance of getting my crew there for breakfast, even though I'd really like to try it for dinner. I'll take what I can get!

Sadly, I doubt it, but the Mara always has them! :thumbsup2

It just said Maple Candy. :upsidedow We were talking about some of the things we were going to try. It's exciting to know that we get to do MNSSHP and F&W!

You are going to have so much fun!!! Do you know what I am looking forward to the most at the Food and Wine? The praline bread pudding! My heart skips a beat whenever I think about it!

All caught up now! Don't beat yourself up too much about not going to breakfast at the CP. I probably would have done the same thing. Sometimes you gots to do whats ya gots to do. Love those happy smiling faces on the carousel! I, too, noticed no mention of Charles but glad to hear he caught up later.

That was such a brilliant idea of Wigd's -- I don't know why I didn't think of that before!

Chelsea loves those sunglasses -- she feels very glam when she wears them.

There were times during our trip I WISH Clay had pulled a Charles. :rotfl: :rotfl: Only thing is, I can't chalk his behavior up to high/low blood sugar. Sometimes he's just a butthead. LOL

I'm telling you -- there are times when I am secretly relieved that Charles doesn't come with us -- because when he is in a bad mood, everyone knows it.

I think Peter Pan is probably my favorite Fantasyland ride of them all -- there is just something about soaring over London and Neverland in our own pirate ship that is just so much fun! :goodvibes

I'm telling you -- there are times when I am secretly relieved that Charles doesn't come with us -- because when he is in a bad mood, everyone knows it.

There is something very fun about Peter Pan's Flight, and it has become even more special since it was Bella's first Disney ride.

Perhaps I can get over the loss of Maple Custard with the Praline Bread Pudding. In fact, I am pretty sure of it. Is that in Canada, as well?

Your comment about Charles....Jill and I could cough and say John at that comment. Let's just say I am/we are looking forward to the girls only October trip. ;)

great updates and pics.

Never been to brown Derby and not quite sure if I want to. I think the grpaefruit cake you can get somewhere else and that would be the only thing I would like to try.

Too bad you canceled CP.

Don't be so hard on yourself CP. I think all moms have done that one time or another - made an assumption on what the family wanted/needed only to find out that said assumption was incorrect. You still probably did the right thing because kids need their rest while touring long days in the parks. :goodvibes
