Well I would have probably let them sleep too. Who knew they would then wake up and be bummed. I hope maybe you meet up with your pals later?
And no Charles? Man I'm beginning to think he dislikes Disneyworld as much as my Grumpy does.....
Allyson
I am coming to the sad realization that Charles will never love Disney World like I do.
Seee. you try to do a favor and look what happens. hehe for now on its early rising! hehe I would of been sad myself to miss Crystal Palace- that was one of my favorite meals.
But Boma is also very yummy. And it is good to relax and sleep on to refresh.
I've never road Toads- but I'm not a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh.
We have eaten at CP once over the years -- we keep making plans to go back.
We thought Winnie the Pooh was pretty cute -- I liked the Heffalumps and Woozles the best!
Jackie, having never road Mr. Toad's Wild Adventure I did the next best thing. I went to
youtube and rode it there! I would have loved to have been on it in person!
Do you know that as soon as I read this, I went over to youtube to ride Mr. Toad's? Why did I never think of doing that before???
The more I read these posts, the more I realize that you DIS Moms are truly amazing people! I don't think many people understand the time or effort that most of you put into having an amazing vacation with your children!
I look forward to the day when I can share WDW with Children! Until then, I live vicariously through all of you, and learn from your ups and downs. Kudos to you all! I look forward to reading more...
Ah, thank you so much!

I know for me, I love planning because I love thinking about WDW when I am not there.
Mr Toad? Obviously I'm not a tenured WDW attendee like some others! We were so happy on our Adventures of Pooh ride.
It was a cute little ride -- there are a lot of great memories from my childhood attached to Mr. Toad and his wild driving.
Too bad Charles decided to miss such a yummy supper at DHS. That does sound scrumptious! That cake looks super delish!
It was very delicious!
Love the story of the late night man. You had a certain knack for stumbling across the party-ers - or maybe they're all just attracted to AKL. You're the one who had a dude sleeping by the pool early in the morning, right?
Yes, that was me, too -- what I had to go through to get my coffee!
Hopefully Connor didn't hold the missed breakfast with Baylor over your head for too long!
Once he ate at Boma, Connor was in better spirits.
I still miss Mr. Toad as well. But I enjoy Winnie the Pooh, and I am glad that you enjoyed your first ride in a hunny pot!

I think Fantasyland will always be my favorite. It is the first "land" I associate with Disney World.
I always think of Adventureland at twilight. Go figure!
It looks like thingstill worked out for you! You were able to still get a breakfast and got a TON done early in Fantasyland! Good job! Can't wait to see some Tinkk pix!
I was so proud of our sweep through Fantasyland!
Looks like you guys had another great day!
(And your Food and Wine trip is getting closer and closer, whoo hoo!)
We did! And it is! To tell you the truth, it is sneaking up on me!
Poor Conor, but I don't blame you for letting them sleep.
I had only ridden Mr. Toad's ride once before it was changed to Pooh, so I didn't have any attachment to it. I remember liking it though. But, I love Pooh. I am glad you tried it.
I am glad we rode Pooh also -- it was cute!
Oh, I'm sorry you missed CP, and that Connor was upset about not getting to see Baylor!! That doesn't always start the morning out on a good foot, hopefully things get better throughout the day. Boma is a GREAT breakfast substitute, no Baylor, but still delicious!
After Connor got a whole lot of Boma breakfast into him, he was in a better mood.
The pics of the kids on the carousel are really sweet. Glad you were able to overcome the loss of Mr. Toad.

Was it kind of a similar track ride to Pooh? I always hear of it, but never knew what it was really...
I think it is a very similar track -- I would not be surprised to hear that it is the same track with different theming. Maybe not, though...
No Charles again this morning, don't you wish they made half day passes?
A half-day pass is exactly what Charles needed on this trip. Actually, if they still made the ticket books, that's what would have been best.
