Divas, Zebra Domes, and Pixie Dust! A Week in an African Paradise! New TR Link Pg.145

My goodness there is SO much of AK that I have yet to explore. Apparently starting with the bathrooms! :rotfl:

What's up with rude lady? I don't understand people. I really don't. :sad2:

Hurrah for Charles feeling better! :yay:

in regards to the rude train rider- ugh! it is so hard to remain composed and be the bigger person in those situations- when we were staying at the Beach Club this past May we went to the pool in the afternoon and there were no tables left- we then spotted a family that was just in the process of getting up so I stood politely to the side because I hate stalking poor people for a table- well wouldn't ya know as soon as they stood up this little bimbo came out of nowhere  -slammed her towel on the table and called out to her DH- "MAAAARTY I got us a table" ugh- my New York born and bred , usually Value resort staying self ( not that that is any excuse to stoop so low) wanted to wring her little neck - but then I calmly reminded myself that we are at the Beach Club- not the Bronx Zoo and I need to behave myself . I think that was the proudest :worship: my DH has ever been of me- and I actually felt good and the better person but it did not stop me from making sure I passed by her table several times that afternoon - never said anything- just sauntered by keeping her on her toes ;)

:cheer2: good for you for being the better person in that situation and hopefully it brought you good karma and :tinker: pixie dust for the rest of the trip

Another wonderful update. Charleston Princess never disappoints her loyal subjects!

Thank stinks about the snotty lady. Doesn't it make you mad how someone's bad attitude can have such an effect on your mood! Hopefully the thought of her didn't linger too long.

They're very informative. ;)

Inside the stall I visited, for example:

disney3-18-09beginningHSAK294.jpg

What an informative reply. Now I know to NEVER touch a hippo's tail. Man, I feel smarter already! :lmao:

Great update. I'm sorry to hear about the frozen lemonade, I really wanted to try one this time but I guess I will pass. I hate anything that leaves an aftertaste:sick: You did everything we ahve never done with the exception of the FOTLK. I love that show:love:We see it everytime and get goosebumps and tears without fail! Last year we went first thing in the morning when it was raining and there were only people in the first two rows of each section. Snow White was picked to participate for a couple of segments. She was thrilled but I think I was more excited for her:yay:

What a wench! :headache: If I encounter mean people like that next trip I will feature them here! :lmao:

That train is nice. We like the way it faces too. Wish they all did that. You got some great shots today!

I found a bench and just sat for a little bit, and I had to check out the bathroom since MRYPPNS had told me to do so. It is a hoot in there!

Sounds funny.... "I had to go to the bathroom because another DISer told me to!!" :rotfl:

At this point in the day, it was about 12:30 and there was something I really wanted to do: Festival of the Lion King! Since this was my first time seeing the show, I didn't take pictures and just enjoyed it. No words I have can convey the uniqueness of this show. It was wonderful!

Awww... Hooray! The show is incredible, isn't it? :woohoo: I'm so glad you finally got to see it!!

Looking forward to the best animal sighting, evah...

Kathy

Isn't it funny how some people can be miserable in the Happiest Place on Earth??!! Best just to smie and move on...not worth ruining your day...let them be cranks on their own!!

Whaaaattttt? How did I not see this post earlier in the day? Just as well, I wouldn't have been able to see the pics at work.

Now CP....you should know better than to leave your crystal ball at home when you go to the AK. Because if you had it with you, surely you would have known, with the assistance of your super awesome psychic powers, that you were sitting in someone else's specially reserved seat on the train!

I think this is the same lady I almost had a run in with last summer at the AK when she accused me of taking her Nemo seats while loudly proclaiming, "I was going to sit there!" :sad2:

Channeling your inner diva - love it!

I was kinda right! YAY! I've never been to FOTLK, but REALLY want to. We kept missing it on our November trip. I'm happy to read another positive review of it. Hoping for September.

I think Henry would love that petting zoo...hopefully we make it there in September too!

Sorry you had to deal with the snooty lady. Ugh. Glad someone in their party had manners though! He must have felt pretty embarrassed about the woman to apologize for her. She's probably the type that acts like that quite often...

Safari Eeyore sounds so cute! Do we get a picture of him later in the report?

I'm not trying to be a stinker. ;):rolleyes1

Riiiiiiiiiight. ;)

Or, there is always d) you could cook something on the train...

and then blame it on her! :)

:rotfl: Oh MeMom, you are too funny!

LOL...nah long slithery things scare me...furry things with 8 legs that belong to the arthropod family...nah LOL!!! However what does scare me is the one time a student decides to be funny and take "Rosie Jr." out of its cage LOL...actually my high schoolers are amazing I think they would enjoy the responsibility LOL!!!

Oh, I could see middle schoolers doing that in a heartbeat! In fact, a few years ago, I had a group of students (whom I adored) who thought it would be funny to "borrow" another teacher's rabbit and bring her to my room. They were going to see how long it took me to notice it. When I found it, I marched it right back down the hall. Thank goodness she didn't have a tarantula!

Yeah an installment!

Rudeness on the train. Hope karma came back and gave that woman a bite. Grouchy people stink.

I agree -- it doesn't take much to be pleasant.

And my kids loved the petting zoo as well which made me laugh because we live in the country and at their weekly riding lessons they can pet all the animals they want. Yet we went all the way to Disney and they were pumped to pet goats.

It's the same for us -- my kids have seen a LOT of goats in their lives, but they loved the Disney ones. LOL!

So glad Charles will be making an appearance! Not getting your money's worth so far on his ticket!

Allyson

I ended up saying that a few times on this trip.

Jackie, Sorry to come over here and hijack but I'm going to have to post a picture of Rosie's home. I was a little nervous that she would temp one of my 4th graders to open her cage, not necessarily to hold her but just to let her out!:scared1: Let me tell you this was never the case because they could have opened the top but I think the lock on the front sent a message. Those kids just loved having her in the classroom... Jen I think you can do this, you too MeMom!
Sorry again Jackie, please resume.....:rotfl2:

Love the lock!!! What a great deterrent! :thumbsup2

Wonderful update! I've taken the train out to the conservation station, but never really looked around. We basically took the train for a little down time. I can't believe that that woman was so rude! Seriously, is it that difficult to be courteous? Unbelievable!

It's a neat place to spend some time, and it is air-conditioned which was a plus on this trip.

I have never understood rudeness. :sad2:

FotLK is my all time fave!! I got goosebumps reading your review on it! It is just fabulous! the first time my DS saw it he was only 1 1/2 and cried the entire time ( he used to be scared of everything!) - but thank goodness it was sooo loud in there that no one noticed- I have video of it and show it to my DS now 10 and he cracks up at the silliness! We see it every year - and almost every time we have gone since then he has been able to participate in the dancing part of the show with the CM's who are just fantastic!!! now he is older and wants no part of that :sad1: but will still go and see it with me because he knows it is a "must do" for me :)

glad you loved it and got to cross off another "first" from the list which I am sure will be transferred over to your "must do" list.

Connor was not thrilled with the idea of going to see it, at first. He even stretched out on the bench to show his disdain. However, once the show started he perked right up.

FOTLK is just fantastic! I was in awe the whole performance, and it will definitely be a must-do.

The rudeness of people at Disney amazes me. Occasionally there are some kind encounters as well, and I'm glad that the young man with them recognized the fact that someone in his group had been nasty to you! It makes me feel better that he apologized.
I'm glad that Charles was feeling better and on his way to the park! Can't wait to see your best animal encounter yet!popcorn::

It made me feel better that he apologized as well -- I was able to put it all behind me after that.

I was glad Charles was on his way to the park as well.

Awwww...see now you have me all types of curious about the bathrooms at the Conservation Station..so now I'm going to have to go just to check out the bathrooms!!!

Yep, put it on your list! :thumbsup2

I would love to see a picture of the Eeyore Connor chose to buy...I'm glad he was able to find something he liked!!!

Yes, there is a picture of Connor with Eeyore in the next installment.

Boo...to rude people! I'm glad the younger gentleman did apologize and you shouldn't feel bad, somepeople need to learn how to talk to others...please and thank yous get you far in this world.

I felt bad because he felt bad, and it wasn't even his fault -- it was all his mother/aunt/something or other. I agree -- manners make all the difference.

No meerkats...that is just horrible!! LOL..to Connor finding the hissing cockroach I would have been looking for that one too!!!

He was so entranced by them, but only because they were behind glass. My entire family is terrified of bugs.

FOTLK is one show I have never been too...I loved Nemo so I bet I would really enjoy FOTLK also!!!

Oh, you MUST see it! Must! Must! Must!

I love all the animal pictures! I'm glad Charles started to feel better and that you all loved the Festival of the Lion King. That's my favorite show in all of Disney, isn't it amazing?! :goodvibes:

It is my favorite show now, too! All of it was just unbelievable to watch!

I absolutely *heart* FOTLK. Isn't it just perfect? I had tears in my eyes and chills up my spine. Disney certainly outdid themselves with that show. I'm sorry you had to deal with a rude witch. Why are people rude while they are in The Happiest Place on Earth? How can you be? Ick.

FOLTK was just wonderful -- I predict it will be something we see every trip now.

Unfortunately there always seem to be rude people at Disney -- it defies explanation. :sad2:

Yea! Another great update!! We, too, love the train ride out to Conservation Station. We didn't do it this trip though because the kids didn't really like it too much once we got out there :confused3

I think Chelsea and Connor enjoyed it because it was all new to us -- I could see the novelty wearing off for them though.

I say *pish posh* to the rude lady on the train. She'll get her just desserts one day. I'm glad the younger man apologized.

Yes, she will!

I"m glad you got to see FOTLK and really enjoyed it.

Looking forward to the best animal encounter ever!:thumbsup2

LOVED it!

It is the BEST I have ever had!

I am all caught up. I hate it when life gets in the way of my DIS time. I don't know why some people feel they have to rude. Didn't they learn any manners growing up? Any way I am glad that Charles is feeling betterand I am looking forward to your next up date.

Glad you are all caught up again! Apparently no manners with that woman!

All caught up! Beautiful pics CP! Especially of HM. I still have never got to ride the riverboat. Sorry to hear your DH didn't feel well. Insulin is a pain. Is he a candidate for the pump? Off to book our Oct trip to chase the blues away. Great TR so far! :goodvibes

Welcome back! The riverboat was very relaxing. Charles doesn't want a pump -- sometimes he is stubborn like that. :sad2:

We haven't done the Pangani Walking Trail or the Conservation Station in a long time so it's definitely something I want to do next time. So is checking out the bathrooms at the Conservation Station because I'm really curious now. :rotfl:

We enjoyed the Walking Trail, but next time I want to go earlier when the animals are awake and doing things.

Hissing cockroaches, no thank you. I'm completely terrified of beetles or anything resembling a beetle -- I get it from my dad. :rotfl2: I've never seen a cockroach and I never want to, let alone one that will hiss at me.

Don't come to any coastal areas of the South, then. We have Palmetto Bugs. They scare even me, and bugs don't phase me.

We didn't do the Conservation Station on our trip but from all I've read I wish we had. I know Hannah would thouroughly enjoy it. Pfffttt to rudey poo lady. Thank goodness someone in her party had good manners.

There's always next time, right! :thumbsup2 That's what makes Disney so much fun!

The tumble monkeys are awesome! Hannah and I loved FotLK. Clay and Alison...not so much. Maybe for our next trip they can go ride EE while Hannah and I watch FotLK.

That sounds like a good plan! We also loved the fire twirler -- he was amazing as well!

Great update! Don't you just love the AKL? We stayed there in the past and will stay again in Feb. Can't wait to read more. BTW you children are adorable and Connor is so cute is his glasses.

Melissa

Thank you! I am trying to figure out how to get back to AKL as soon as possible! It is my favorite Disney resort that we have stayed at so far.

yeah an update! looking forward to more and the appearance of Charles :)

Thank you! Yes, Charles finally joins the adventure for a little bit.

good update----sorry for the rude woman, I'm glad you enjoyed KOTLK--it's one of my favorite shows:goodvibes
looking forward to seeing Charles again:lmao:

Thank you! The rude woman just really took me off guard. FOTLK was almost the highlight of my day -- until the safari...

I took the train out to Conservation a few years back. Maybe I will have to check it out again this year if time (and frequent EE rides) permit.

I wish now I had taken more pictures there -- the kids really liked playing with the animal cameras.

What a poor attitude of that woman on the train. :sad2: Some people! It was good of you to channel your inner diva....I would have been biting my tongue while doing that!

It was very hard for me to rise above the occasion. ;)

I can't tell you how much I freaked out when I first used the restroom at Conservation Station. It was beyond hilarious. They should have had a hidden camera in there. :rotfl:

Yes, they should. :lmao:

Booo to the crabby lady!

I  FotLK! It was my favorite stage show at WDW until Nemo. Still awesome though! I always seem to tear up too! :goodvibes

I just couldn't wrap my head around the fact that she asked me to move for grown adults. I wonder if she does that on the buses as well!

We haven't seen Nemo yet -- I guess that needs to move to the top of the list for next time.

They're very informative.

Inside the stall I visited, for example:

disney3-18-09beginningHSAK294.jpg

See, I had a hard time concentrating on what I needed to be doing because I was so busy reading.

I'm glad you guys go to go out to Conservation Station. Too bad about the absence of meerkats on the trail. They're fun to watch.

We have watched many seasons of Meerkat Manor and were really looking forward to seeing the real thing. Next time I am headed there first thing in the morning.

I'm definitely glad you got to see Festival of the Lion King. It's an awesome show! How did you do on your warthog sounds?

I think we did pretty well, although I will admit, I had a touch of envy seeing the lion section across the way. I would have done a great lion's roar.

I am glad you got to see FTLK. I have seen it several times, but not on my last trip. I think it is amazing. I also got teary eyed last time I saw it.

I am so glad I am not the only one that tears up during various shows. :thumbsup2

I'm so glad you saw FOTLK. I get choked up also, especially during the bird act when the dancer is spinning. I agree, the tumble monkeys are amazing.

I'm glad you guys obeyed the no cooking on the train rule. I'd hate for you all to end up in Disney jail.

Ooh, the best animal encounter ever? I'm waiting patiently.popcorn::

The bird act was phenomenal as well -- the whole show was just so well done.

Nope, no cooking on the train -- I am always a rule follower at Disney. I would not want to visit Mickey Jail. LOL!

It's worth the wait, I promise.

I have never made it to Conversation Station, I just added it to my list.

FOTLK is my absolute favorite thing about AK! DS says its just okay, but for me its amazing. I have seen it 3 times now and could watch it 20 more.

Yes, go explore Conservation Station -- try to go in the morning when they do the vet procedures -- that was my favorite part.

I could watch FOTLK quite a few times myself.

Fun report! Where did you get Connor's Jungle Book shirt? And now I also have to see the bathrooms at Conservation Station. Guess it would be too weird for someone to take a photo in there?

:welcome: Thank you so much! I found Connor's shirt at disneyshopping.com last year. Nah, it's not weird to take pictures in there -- lots of people do so. ;)

So interested in the bathrooms I forgot to subscribe...popcorn::

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

i believe the appropriate thing the woman should've said to you is, "excuse me. i'm sorry but we have some people coming and i was saving those seats for them. do you mind sitting behind us?"

Exactly! And I would have said, "Sure!" with a super sweet smile.

since her "appropriateness" was non-existant, i therefore believe that there was not an "appropriate" response from you other than to, a.) give her the evil eye, b.) smack her upside the head or c.) throw her off the train after it started moving. being that your children were present, i'm glad you chose A. :thumbsup2

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: While I would have liked to do B or C, you are right, I had to set a good example for Chelsea and Connor. LOL!

i can't believe the gorillas were all snoozing! we've always seen at least one of them up and walking around.

glad you got to see the lion king. such a great show!

Every last one of them fast asleep. They were all sprawled out on their backs. That tells you how hot it was by that time.

I am so proud of myself. I have spent the last two weeks reading your pretrip and trip reports from last year and your pretrip report from this year. Now I have not only moved onto your current trip report, but I am caught up so I too can comment! :woohoo:

:welcome: I can't believe that you read all of my previous reports, but so pleased that you did!

I had written off the Conservation Station prior to reading about your experience, everything else I have read says it's not really worth the train ride but I will have to let my little animal lover decide for herself next time we go.

They have monkeys as you walk up to the building, and then inside there are all sorts of exhibits, characters, animal cams, vet procedures, and a petting zoo. We had fun there and managed to spend about an hour exploring.

Or, there is always d) you could cook something on the train...

and then blame it on her! :)

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: I love it! If only I had thought of it at the time! :thumbsup2

Just found your trip report and got all caught up. I love your writing style. I was literally laughing out loud as I read it. Great job. Can't wait for more. :thumbsup2

:welcome: Thank you so much! I love writing, and I love writing about our Disney trips. It is one of my favorite summer activities!

Love FOTLK!! That is definately on our list in September as my daughter has not seen it yet. I was surprised it was so crowded last Sept, as most other lines were tolerable. Then after watching it I totally understood!

Grrr I hate rude people, but it's not just at disney. I see our patients in the hospital getting ruder and more demanding every day. My problem is I can never think of the snappy comments until after I walk away. I had a patient a couple of months ago who kicked me out of her room because I wouldn't give her a medication that she wanted. After explaining that the doctor wrote an order discontinuing the medication, along with a note NOT to call and ask for the medication (Yep, she was an interesting pt.), she wouldn't let me back in her room, then kicked out two more nurses who told her the same thing. Later she asked for me to go back in her room and told me she was sorry I wouldn't listen to her, but that she would "let" me take care of her!

Glad Charles is feeling better and I hope you get some fun family time in!!

Some replies are on the previous page!

Sorry about the mean lady.
I encounter TONS of those because I am a teenager.
I always have the urge to say something back. Hey, I won't see them again ;)

Oh, I remember the teenage years only too well -- that used to bother me as well.

Great update!! Don't you just hate rude people? That stinks that you encountered someone with such little tact! And we just LOVED the FOTLK show! (I just wrote about it on my TR) I think it's one of the best shows at WDW--sooo well done!! :thumbsup2 Can't wait to hear about these animals!!

Thank you! Yes, rude people are not fun to deal with. I need to comment on your latest update, but I did sneak a peek at your Festival pictures -- you got some great ones!

You are so much nicer than me. My response would have been something along the lines of "Really I don't see their names here"... then I would have just sat there.

Sometimes my poor DH just shakes his head. On a side note I am really trying to be better.... honest I am.

:lmao: I can never think up the good comebacks in time.

Conservation station and the train we missed this time, but will have to include it in Dec.

Or next summer...I saw you are going to get a third trip as well! Score! :thumbsup2

I too don't get rude people at Disney... It seems so "wrong"!!

It does, doesn't it?

And the Monkeys at FOTLK -- very very cool! I couldn't believe their acrobatics!!!

I think Chelsea, Connor, and I were open-mouthed with astonishment as we watched them!

Ok Jackie, I think I am finally caught up! I am so sorry to here that Charles wasn't feeling well!:sad2: I had to laugh about Donald coming and the kids not being there, we had SO MANY meals where I was stressed about the timing of the characters and running back up for more food!:thumbsup2 You are brave to look at the bats, the FREAK me out!:scared: How rude was that woman GEEZ!! I am glad someone from her party realized she was wrong!:thumbsup2 I am SO HAPPY for you that you loved the Lodge, it is incredible isn't it!:goodvibes

Hurray for being all caught up! We loved, loved, loved the Lodge. I can't wait to get back there as soon as possible!

I find it really funny, and I know I've said this before, but how yours and Heidi's reports are running so concurrently right now. It's great.

I have laughed about it, too. When she posted her Wildlife Express sign the other day, I thought, "Oh, I have that same picture."

I'm sorry you had to deal with some rudeness there. I agree, tone of voice is everything. At least you ended up with a rather humble apology from someone.

I was just so bothered by her tone -- totally unnecessary -- after all, I wouldn't have refused -- and even if I had, there was room for about thirty more people in our compartment. :sad2: No one was going to get left behind at Conservation Station. LOL!

And I too, LOVE the Festival of the Lion King. I saw it for the first time last year, and yes, I was awed. It's an amazing show, and I love the music. :thumbsup2

Awed is just the right word!

Is Charles really making an appearance? :yay:

Why yes he is!

Sorry about the rude lady, but it looks like the three of you sure had quite a bit of fun....making mental notes....go check out the potties at the Conservation station, and DON'T MISS FOTLK....AGAIN!!!! I PROMISE I will make it there this year...can't wait!

You must do FOTLK -- all three of you would love it!

I can't WAIT to hear what type of animal interaction awaits in the next update!!!! Hopefully it is not a CRABBY CHARLES.....I hear those beasts can be QUITE ferocious!!! ;) Hee hee!

 Nope, no Crabby Charles -- something even better! :thumbsup2

My goodness there is SO much of AK that I have yet to explore. Apparently starting with the bathrooms! :rotfl:

Who would have thought, right?

What's up with rude lady? I don't understand people. I really don't. :sad2:

Me neither!

Hurrah for Charles feeling better! :yay:

I know -- I actually get to write about him again.

in regards to the rude train rider- ugh! it is so hard to remain composed and be the bigger person in those situations- when we were staying at the Beach Club this past May we went to the pool in the afternoon and there were no tables left- we then spotted a family that was just in the process of getting up so I stood politely to the side because I hate stalking poor people for a table- well wouldn't ya know as soon as they stood up this little bimbo came out of nowhere  -slammed her towel on the table and called out to her DH- "MAAAARTY I got us a table" ugh- my New York born and bred , usually Value resort staying self ( not that that is any excuse to stoop so low) wanted to wring her little neck - but then I calmly reminded myself that we are at the Beach Club- not the Bronx Zoo and I need to behave myself . I think that was the proudest :worship: my DH has ever been of me- and I actually felt good and the better person but it did not stop me from making sure I passed by her table several times that afternoon - never said anything- just sauntered by keeping her on her toes ;)

Oh, I would have been furious!!! I love that you walked by her table several times!

:cheer2: good for you for being the better person in that situation and hopefully it brought you good karma and :tinker: pixie dust for the rest of the trip

It might have been the slow-acting kind of pixie dust...

Do we get to see a picture of the Safari Eeyore?

Oh, LL, when I first started the replies, I missed clicking yours.

Yes, Safari Eeyore went on the safari with us, so you will get a picture. :goodvibes

I think Conservation Station sounds like time well spent! I need to make it over there.

It was a fun way to spend some time.

How rude of that lady! I hate stuff like that. Don't people know that kindness gets them further in life than being snooty!?

Exactly what I think!

Another wonderful update. Charleston Princess never disappoints her loyal subjects!

Awww, thanks! :goodvibes

Thank stinks about the snotty lady. Doesn't it make you mad how someone's bad attitude can have such an effect on your mood! Hopefully the thought of her didn't linger too long.

I was just seething all the way back, but once the younger man with her apologized, I felt much better.

Great update. I'm sorry to hear about the frozen lemonade, I really wanted to try one this time but I guess I will pass. I hate anything that leaves an aftertaste. You did everything we ahve never done with the exception of the FOTLK. I love that show:love:We see it everytime and get goosebumps and tears without fail! Last year we went first thing in the morning when it was raining and there were only people in the first two rows of each section. Snow White was picked to participate for a couple of segments. She was thrilled but I think I was more excited for her.

It was just the Minute Maid ones that come prepackaged. We had frozen lemonades at DHS last year (from Min and Bill's) that were very good.

That would be so fun to have the kids chosen to participate!

What a wench! If I encounter mean people like that next trip I will feature them here!

That train is nice. We like the way it faces too. Wish they all did that. You got some great shots today!

Wench is the perfect word for her!

Jackie, Gosh I wish you had taken a picture of the rude lady.....

I do, too! It would have looked like I was taking a picture of the scenery! :rolleyes1 I need to work on doing that!

Well, since you gained some wisdom from that one, maybe this one will help, too.

P1130663.jpg

Do you have pictures of all the different ones, MeMom?

Awww... Hooray! The show is incredible, isn't it? :woohoo: I'm so glad you finally got to see it!!

Looking forward to the best animal sighting, evah...

Kathy

I can only get away with saying things like that on the DIS. LOL!

Festival was incredible! I loved every minute of it!

I am so borrowing your "evah"! :thumbsup2

Isn't it funny how some people can be miserable in the Happiest Place on Earth??!! Best just to smie and move on...not worth ruining your day...let them be cranks on their own!!

I usually manage to do that, but I have never had one of them lash out at me.

:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl: I love it! Yes, I knew I should have packed my crystal ball!

See, if I had taken a picture of her like Wigd said, you would know for sure that it was the same woman. LOL!

I was kinda right! YAY! I've never been to FOTLK, but REALLY want to. We kept missing it on our November trip. I'm happy to read another positive review of it. Hoping for September.

I think Henry would love that petting zoo...hopefully we make it there in September too!

Yes, try to squeeze them both in -- especially FOTLK!

Sorry you had to deal with the snooty lady. Ugh. Glad someone in their party had manners though! He must have felt pretty embarrassed about the woman to apologize for her. She's probably the type that acts like that quite often...

Poor guy -- you are right -- she probably does that a lot!

Safari Eeyore sounds so cute! Do we get a picture of him later in the report?

Yes, Connor made sure he could see on the safari, so I have a pic!

Riiiiiiiiiight. ;)

Soon, you shall know. ;) It will probably be anti-climatic by then.

Love FOTLK!! That is definately on our list in September as my daughter has not seen it yet. I was surprised it was so crowded last Sept, as most other lines were tolerable. Then after watching it I totally understood!

We went to a 1:00 show and I overheard a CM saying it was the busiest show of the day, so next time, I am not choosing the 1:00. It still didn't seem too bad though.

Oh, I bet you see some doozies at the hospital!

I can never think of snappy comebacks on the spot, either. :sad2:

Glad Charles is feeling better and I hope you get some fun family time in!!

We do! :goodvibes
