Steph - Sending some good thoughts your way. My aunt has been having heart problems the past few years and it's getting scary bad for us. I don't wish it on anyone and hope you're able to find whatever's causing the problems. Everything else going on definitely doesn't help at all. You're in my thoughts!

Evening ladies.

I know I haven't been on here a great deal as of late. Without getting into too many details there has been a lot going on in my life. I have recently been diagnosed with an heart condition (I've been referred to a specialist to determine what is causing my problems). The military has decided because of this that I have to go through a medical board. This board will determine whether I'm fit for duty or not. They can decide whether I stay in, am removed or give me an early retirement. Needless to say this has been a great deal of stress (not good for my heart either).

Of course on top of that is the federal government shutdown possibility. That's a whole different set of stress issues. I really don't want to cancel our family trip to DL at the end of the month but if the budget isn't straightened out we will have to postpone it (possibly cancel it).

I hope you all are doing well. I will try to check in more often.

Oh wow steph I am sorry to hear about your health threat. Do not get stressed about anything. Only worry about the things you can control take no mind to the ones you can not do anything about. Being as you are so young I am hoping the issue will be taken care of with meds, naybe even changing eatting habits. You have to put yourself first. AND TAKE IT EASY.

I totally agree with you. The government needs to make sure the military is paid. How many of the military would get in real trouble if they just came home from over seas if the Feds stopped wages and supplies so they can stay safe.

They should be given this one extended week and if nothing done -- guess the president gets to decide. Maybe that will put a fire under their butts.

But no matter take care, rest, think good thoughts, and eat only good things for your heart and body.

Steph I am so sorry to hear of your health issues and of course about the possible issues that may come up with your job. Shane was in the army for 14 years and he too had to go through a medical board so I know what a pain that is. I will also be praying for you for both your health and that you get the outcome that you want at work.

As far as this whole shutdown mess I can't even imagine! They threatened this when Shane was deployed and I KNOW how stressful that can be. I can't even imagine the families that have loved ones over in the war and then to know they are not even getting their pay and to have to worry about their loved ones back home. It is just WRONG. Of course it is wrong to not pay ANY of the military! I will def be thinking good thoughts on this issue as well and I seriously doubt that if they DO shut it down it will be for very long because they know they can't get away with this baloney! ((hugs)) and hang in and Patty is right. I KNOW how hard it is NOT to stress but please try not to if you can!

It is back to be freezing here tonight. I was sitting at swim all bundled up like the abomindal snowman LOL and I couldn't WAIT for it to be over and then it was raining and hailing and almost like sleeting when we left CRAZY! And my wipers desperately need to be changed so I couldn't see out of my stupid windshield and I can't see to drive at night very well anyway so my drive home was def harrowing. I will be SO glad when Shane is back on days!!!

I know all my idol gals were chatting on FB but all I can say is WOW! Total shocker tonight. Will leave it at that LOL.

Anyway I have to work tomorrow so I am off to hit the hay. Have a good evening all!

Good morning, ladies!!! TGIF!!

I had a nice visit last night with Angie and her husband. He's a sweetie and they are so cute together!! And yes, the cheesecake was delish.

It sprinkled a bit last night on my way down to the Strip. I hope it does more today. It's pretty cloudy and grey out there right now and I love it! Hopefully the rain will show up soon.

Have a great day everyone. So glad it's the weekend. One more week after this and my kiddos are on Spring Break.
