"Diva" Trip - "Cliff Notes" p.236 OLD THREAD!

Hooray! I'm all caught up!

Worked in the yard on Sunday which made me sore and stiff yesterday. Ugh. Getting older sucks. Also really stirred up the allergies, so I've been sneezing too. Fun times. Today I got my every-6-month-bonus-fun of going to the dentist. Now my teeth/gums hurt, but I'm good for another 6 months. Tomorrow morning I'll be up early to register for my annual Stampin Up Convention at six-freakin-A.M. Then I have some stuff arriving UPS tomorrow afternoon that I will need to work with the rest of the week. There is a Garden Show in town this weekend that I am wanting to go to, but it's $11 just to get in and then parking on top of that, so I'm not sure it's worth it. Not much going on around here, which is probably a good thing.... LOL

I was a Stampin' Up! demo for 10 years, 10 months! I finally let being a demo go after years of mainly purchasing for myself. It was a very difficult decision as it felt like SU was a part of who I was. I went to convention the first 3 years I was a demo but then couldn't make it happen after that. Really wanted to go last year for my 10 year but just couldn't make it happen. Have a great time at convention!

This will be my 6th SU convention. I get to do my 5 year walk this year. I have been mostly my own best customer, but I do have one gal that buys from me 3 or 4 times a year (always $150 at a time to get hostess bennies), so that helps. I think this may be my last convention for a while. The "plan" is to sit them out until I do my 10 year walk. If I'm still in it then!

The first 4 years I was a demo I did ok with sales. Nothing spectacular but enough to keep me going. Then I moved from WI to CA and I found people around me to be very fickle. I had many parties booked and then for some reason they would just cancel out of the blue or simply not return my phone calls...

Fun Fact: My second level upline was Mary Polcin (the first demo to reach 1 million in sales). She was awesome! When I finally booked a workshop after living in CA for over a year I didn't have much current and I received a package from her to help me out even being 2800 miles away.

:goodvibes Evening all

Rochelle, that bag is so so so cute, do you sell them? You certainly could. Sorry about the lady at your work.

Lisa, good luck registering for the convention.

I read back, but that is all I retained, I feel like my cold is making a second run, so it is off to bed I go. I was so bummed out, I thought Idol was tonight, but alas it is not.

That sucks Rochelle, people can be freaks. That accountant sounds like "Psycho Sue" in the DonutGate thread. It's too bad that your supervisor is best friends with her. :sad2:

Thanks Kathy! I just read that thread and eek!! I thought my co-worker was bad! Geeze! :sad2:

My co-worker wouldn't dare throw someone's food away but she just is so loud and annoying. :headache:

Thanks Amy for the compliment :cutie: I never sold one before. lol. If I knew how to use my grandma's sewing machine, I would try. :rotfl:

I hope you feel better!

Oh good golly I had almost forgot about that thread. I will never understand some people.

Sorry about that person at work Rochelle. :headache:

I just got back from picking a day of 'outings' which doesn't go well with my don't do anything that requires spending money plan. At least the Easter basket stuff I picked up had been planned for. Other stuff was extra, like stopping off at Blockbuster. Simply because I was bored.

Oh well. Movie time popcorn::

My friend and I considered the Santa Cruz Half, but I'm burned out on Sunday races. I prefer Saturday so I can travel home on Sunday.

Hope you do well Jen, it looks like a fun race! My next race is a 10k instead of a half-marathon, but it is the HILLY...very HILLY Whiskey Row race in Prescott, AZ. I suppose the hill training will serve me well in SFO if I get picked in the lottery for the 2011 Nike Women's Marathon in October. :P

Sunday races seem to be the normal, huh? I am doing the Davis Moo-nlight Half, and that is on a Saturday

I too am trying for the Nike Women's. I'll be going for the half though. I hate hills, but I love the idea of getting a Tiffany's necklace from a hottie fireman

Good morning girls!

I have been pretty busy with work and haven't had a chance to catch up to all the stuffs going on around here.

Deb, I am glad you all are having a good time at DL. I hope it doesn't get too hot or too crowded. Have one of those lemon cupcakes for me at the Hungry Bear, mmkay? popcorn:::thumbsup2

Beth I know how you feel...all you runners make me feel like a couch potato  I work out about 3 days a week, mostly walking..sometimes Zumba. But sheesh, I couldn't run a mile if my life depended on it. :sad2:

Hope you all have a wonderful day! :flower3:

Deb I LOVE :lovestruc the pics! The way she's looking at Pocahontas...it's so adorable it's killing me:goodvibes

Good morning, ladies!! :sunny: I now have another sick kid in my house. (sigh) Oh well, better now than next month. So far I have managed to avoid it though so that's good. (knock on wood!!!)

Wendy, Jen and all you other runners, congrats and good luck on all these races you have signed up for!! It's inspiring! :cheer2:

What is Stamp-Up? Is that a crafty/scrapbooking thing? If so, that would explain why I know nothing about it. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

I think all the WDW ladies are either already home or on their way!! I can't wait to hear more about their trip and see more pics. Callie and Courtney, that means you! I want to hear all about your first impressions of everything. ;)

Katie and January, hope life doesn't get too busy for ya!

Theresa, and Amy, get well. :flower3:

Deb, oh my goodness. I adore those pics of Brooke with the princesses. :lovestruc The one of her looking up at Pocahontas is beyond words. Just too cute. Thanks so much for sharing. Did you get her little Minnie ears? :earsgirl:

Everyone else have a wonderful day!!

Good morning everyone!

Wow, it's been great weather for my convertible smart. In fact, I have to admit that I'm driving "topless" just about everywhere these days.

Here are a few pictures of Brooke at PFF.
Those a fabulous pictures Debra! Brooke is quite the little princess. princess:

Good morning, ladies!! :sunny: I now have another sick kid in my house. (sigh) Oh well, better now than next month.
Hope everyone in your house (including you Beth) is well soon and healthy for your SD vacation. :goodvibes

I'm feeling a little worried that Patty hasn't posted about receiving her Easter basket over on the exchange thread.
Hopefully the USPS didn't confirm delivery to the wrong place. :worried: Nah, she's probably just been too busy to post.

Have a great day!

Aw Deb! Those pics are so adorable!!

I am beginning to remember why I hate this time of the year (although I love the warmer weather). My allergies are trying to kill me once again.

Love it Sarah! I am in love with the Disney D&Bs, especially the 55th design. I have the letter carrier and wallet (and 2 more ... I think I know where all my money went last year now that I think about it).

I've got the Sketch Tassle tote that my mom got me for my birthday and a purple sketch wristlet that I bought so this is my third. I want to get onefrom the Princess line next.

Those are my other 2 as well - although my wristlet is the white sketch. I like the Princess line as well (will probably go for one in black) but it will be a while before I can get another one. Maybe for my birthday in September again, lol.
