"Diva" Trip - "Cliff Notes" p.236 OLD THREAD!

It's boring when you're there for such thrilling items as deodorant, vitamins, peanut butter and cookie dough (they have the MOST. AWESOME. ready to bake Oatmeal Cranberry Walnut cookies. YUM!). Even with a trip thru the Easter goodies I wasn't in there for 20 minutes. Sigh.

Wait, what? 20 minutes? Deodorant? You mean you actually only got what you went there to get? I don't understand this....

Is there some booking secret that I don't know about. Or does it just cost $500 a night minimum? I just can't live with that price given how far I need to make $500 go. Don't begrudge anyone else spending it, but I can't .

I looked at the website but didn't dare click on the prices. $500??? A night?? Tell me that's for like their best suite or something......

Got home last night and the storm was really crazy! Tons of rain and thunder and such.

So quite a day yesterday. Expecting another big storm today and Shane is back off work today so planning on just hanging round the house and trying to stay dry and make sure we don't lose any trees and such.

Just sitting here listing to the rain and wind - again! Getting a little tired of it and feeling cooped up! Really missing my morning walks with my doggie!
But I have gotten a lot done in the office. Finally got my tax info to our accountant and am all caught up on paperwork!! Yeah!

I am thinking that is the time I will be going to DL as well. I can't afford the Grand though I am thinking of splurging for my birthday trip in June and staying on-site but that will probably be the only time I will be able to swing that.

Not this time. It is so expensive for me to fly out there, get a room, run the race, and go to the parks. I am just hoping they bring more races to DL. The Expedition race sounded like so much fun, but it is too short of a race for me to justify all the expenses to do it.

There’s a new runDisney race coming but we can’t tell you the details just yet. We’ll be announcing it soon, but until then we thought it would be fun to give you some clues and see if you can figure it out yourself. Each clue, when deciphered, tells a piece of the story of our new race. The clues aren’t easy, so be sure to invite some friends to help you out.

Will you be able to piece everything together before our big announcement?

I hope you get to splurge for your birthday! I've never stayed onsite at any of the DL hotels. We have a family of 6 so even when we had our passes and were there all the time, there was no way I was booking two rooms or a suite.

I so want to splurge! I just worked an extra night shift last night so that helps my bills. If I can pick up a few more before June I will have no problems covering the extra cost of staying on-site. My problem is deciding which on-site. I REALLY want to stay at GCH but not sure if I can SPLURGE that much! The next choice is DLH but I hate having to pay extra for a renovated room but don't want to get stuck in an area still under construction. PPH sounds like a good choice but I am leary about paying that much and having to walk so far... I had such sore feet my first trip and I don't want a repeat of that.

Sunny and clear here too (for now). Rain is coming back, but we'll take the sun for now. It snowed in Ontario yesterday

I thought they all did pretty good. I really like Paul - there is just something different about him, I like Pia too, wish she would stop with ballads though, I am not a ballad person. And I do like Scotty's Country voice, takes you back to old country.

I saw someone had guessed it's a date and time. Fantasia is Disney's third movie, Dumbo the fourth, and Tangled the 50th....... So March 4 @ 4:50. Sounds good to me!
