 Hey Mel.....was there special washing instructions for the shirts?? I washed it turned inside out in cold water & line dried the shirt. When I flipped it around......some of my pretty bling bling rhinestones were missing :sad1: Is this something I can find & replace them??

Hi All!! Lots of chatting, it's great! Miss everybody! I love seeing all the pics! Can't wait for more!
I'll keep lurkin'!

Hey Jill! Good to know that I am not the only one with issues with Jess' amazing sig lines!

see! I don't know how to make it work!

signature help!
I now have the most fabulous sparkly name thanks to Jazz...but everytime I try to put it in my sig, I get "You may not upload animated images"

What am I doing wrong? I think its so cute...even the Dis won't let me upload it!! LOL

If you go to your User CP and then Edit Signature you should just be able to insert the direct URL with the code like any other photo.

For example to get my graphic in my signature I have the following typed in:

[IMG*]http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q178/SharksGirl91086/Untitled-1.gif

^ This is all it is, minus the *

When you've finished mine are you going to be PM'ing me with the link? not sure how that works....

Morning everyone. Not TOO chatty last night. I was able to catch up fairly quickly.

I too love the crown shirt but then I love whatever Mel makes and am sure it will be fab if it is anything like this years!! :)

Trudi in answer to your question we haven't set anything in stone but we are shooting for leaving on Thursday Oct 14th after the girls get out of school so would be there sometime that evening and then would be in the parks Fri through Monday. We would probably do the halloween party on Fri and then I know you said you can't come till the weekends but perhaps maybe you could come that sat or sunday!! Hint Hint ;) I know we would LOVE to see you and I am sure you would love to meet our other new diva Sherrie. See I am bribing you!! ;)

We had a lot of fun last night watching our movies. We rented You again which was hilarious and Due Date which I also cracked up. LOVE Robert Downey!! And the social Network which I wasn't sure about but actually really enjoyed. It was pretty deep but interesting to see how that all came about! We also got The Kids Are Alright and Case 39. There were SO many more that I wanted to see but luckily a lot of them were checked out or I probably would have went nuts LOL. Don't think I could have watched that many anyway but I also wanted to see Secretariet, Morning Glory and the Next Three days and I am sure there were others but those will have to wait till next time. :)

Shane is off at his side job again all day so I am about to work out here in a minute and then the girls and I are going to watch a few more of the movies and then go have dinner at mom and dad's tonight.

I hope everyone has a GREAT day today and gets all caught up on any lost sleep from the time change.

Have a good one and talk soon :)

I am really hoping to come in 2012!!! I had so much fun in 2010!! It is going on my calendar already.

It sounds like the trip this year was great fun!

I didn't post much on the last thread just because I really wanted to go and didn't want to see all the planning...

Daisy

I am going to try to make it in 2012 as well! I hope you can go! I loved hanging out with you last year!

Hello Divas!
I'll definitely be trying to come on the trip next year. I mean, hey, I bought an annual pass. I'd better get LOTS of use from it!
Thanks to everyone for the good thoughts and virtual hugs for my mom. She's feeling a bit better today. :)

By way of introduction...I'm a mom of two girls and we live in Beautiful British Columbia! I work part time at the Vancouver Aquarium on the Interpretive Delivery team. My hubby and I will be celebrating our 14th anniversary this year. We hope to have a family trip to Disneyland in either November 2011 or January 2012. I enjoy sewing, theatre, and my two pugs!

PS - I don't know everyone's 'real' name on the DisBoards. It would be a real help to us newbies if you have your name somewhere in your siggy! Thanks! :flower3:

Dianna

I live in Blaine, WA! We are practically neighbors!

Hey all!!
I wanted to pop by really quick and say hey and I had a blast!!
Many thanks to all my roomies for dealing with me Tracey, Carrie, Cheryl, Bree, Linda, Mel, Staci, Deb, Steph and Marie.

it was great seeing you all again and i had a blast..

So glad you are on here in your own right! It was great meeting you last year! Hope to see you in 2012!

I hope I do not mess this qoute up, but I will learn if I do :lmao:

Thank you for the welcome!

I live about 2 hours north of Seattle, in Bellingham, a town about 20 minutes from the Canadian border. I am very excited to take him, he is also excited after seeing scrapbook after scrapbook of my trips! We are watching videos and looking at maps so he can get the lay of the land and stuff. I just have to remember to let him enjoy it his way and not go all commando on him while we are there :lmao: I also love the Christmas decorations, and there is nothing better than the snow on Main Street :goodvibes

Welcome! I live in Blaine, WA! I am 32, have 2 kiddos and a hubby and have lived in Whatcom County for a good share of my life! I am glad to see another person from the county on here!

I do not know how to do the double qoute posts yet

Thank you for the welcome's everyone :goodvibes

I absolutley love the Nerd Vinylmations, those are so cute! (I do not collect them, but I sure want those). I did get a nerd nightgown on my last trip, for some reason I just love the nerd line.

Theresa do you usually fly out of Bellingham on Allegiant?

Kelly, it is funny I have lived in Washington my entire life and there are so many places locally we still have not visited. When we go on vacation we love to travel, we mainly go to Montana or California. But we keep talking about exploring some of the places in Washington that we have never seen.

I hope you all have a wonderful day! Just waking up over here with a strong cup of Saturday Morning Java!

Gotta love Allegiant!

For all the rest of you...41 pages already?????? That is crazy! Glad to hear the trip went well this year. I am going to try to make it this coming year but will have to wait and see how finances line up. For now, I am figuring on being in it!

I just got back from Charleston, SC for training and am happy to report that not only was I class president...but I also passed my test and get to keep my job! Gotta love that!

I am looking forward to reading the trip report when I have a little more time on my hands! There are already lots of little things I am picking up from peoples posts that must have stories behind them!

Take care all!

SarahMay

Good morning, ladies!!!

*grumble, grumble - stupid time change - grumble, grumble*

I hate time changes. Oh well, hope you all have a great day. Ruben and Noelle (my husband and oldest daughter) made pancakes this morning and in a bit we are going to head out for some family time to enjoy the day.

TTYL! :sunny:

What am I doing wrong? I think its so cute...even the Dis won't let me upload it!! LOL
I hope you and the others having trouble with their sigs can get it worked out. Hopefully some of Theresa's or Jazz's ideas help. :wizard:

I love this shirt. It would look great in chocolate brown w/ a pink crown & white or blue Mickey head, or Pink shirt with a chocolate brown crown.
Yes! I love those ideas. :thumbsup2

 Hey Mel.....was there special washing instructions for the shirts?? I washed it turned inside out in cold water & line dried the shirt. When I flipped it around......some of my pretty bling bling rhinestones were missing :sad1: Is this something I can find & replace them??
Oh no. That's what I'm afraid of. I only wore mine long enough to take a picture in it. I'd better no wear it so I don't have to wash it in case we use them for next year as well.

Don't think I could have watched that many anyway but I also wanted to see Secretariet, Morning Glory and the Next Three days and I am sure there were others but those will have to wait till next time. :)
I want to see Morning Glory, The Next 3 Days, and also Life As We Know It. Maybe tonight I will rent some. Last night I waited too long and they were all gone.

I just got back from Charleston, SC for training and am happy to report that not only was I class president...but I also passed my test and get to keep my job! Gotta love that!
Hi Sarah. Welcome back! Sounds like you did great in SC. Way to go! :cheer2:

Good Morning Ladies! I also hate losing an hour but since we are springing forward, I am ever hopeful that spring is around the corner!

I wanted to let you all know that I had uploaded my pics to the shutterfly account. There aren't that many of them and they aren't that great, but I liked a lot of the pics anyhow, so I uploaded them for your perusal. Enjoy!

/
woohoo I figured it out...finally! I was missing the / in the last box for some reason.
Thanks for the help everybody :)
I'm pretty sure mine is the absolute cutest siggie....LOL
Happy Sunday, even if we are short an hour.
Kallie is at a friends 13 bday party today...on the invitation it said "no gifts please, bring a donation for the animal shelter". That really made me smile, especially for that age child :)

Wow! That is REALLY responsible for a 13 year old! Sounds like shes got a good head on her shoulders, animal shelters are in dire need for extra funds! Ugh here I go preaching, lol when you work for a veterinarian you totally understand why they are always looking for donations!

Have a great sunday everyone! :)

Jill, your siggie is adorable! So glad you figured it out.
I love mine too! That Jessica is an amazing and creative Diva.
Thanks, Jessica!

I'm off to Las Vegas today to visit my Dad. I should get off the boards and get going - it's a long drive.

Enjoy the beautiful day, everyone!

Day One is done on my trip report & just finishing the last day with the BBQ on the Shutterfly account!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!

 Hey Mel.....was there special washing instructions for the shirts?? I washed it turned inside out in cold water & line dried the shirt. When I flipped it around......some of my pretty bling bling rhinestones were missing :sad1: Is this something I can find & replace them??

I did the same thing to my shirt last year :sad1: It's because of the iron-on picture. The fabric glue and glitter doesn't stick when you wash it, even on gentle and hang dry. I lost quite a few crystal in the washer :rolleyes1

When we did the Tink shirt on white, if you get it printed at Zazzle, they actually print the picture directly on the material, not an iron-on, so you can glue and glitter away and it doesn't come off (if you wash it on gentle). I have washed my Tink shirt several times and it still looks great :thumbsup2

Maybe this year we can do a white (or light color??) group t-shirt so that we can bling them and still be able to wash??

Chris - have a safe and fun trip!

Theresa: It looked to me like the castle shirts were screen-printed not ironed on. I will probably handwash mine (I know--it's a pain) but I want to keep it as nice as possible.

Screen print or iron-on, it's not part of the material, so that's the issue with the fabric glue sticking. I learned last year, so I won't be putting mine in the washer. I'm just offering a possible solution.

Just woke up. Normally after my overnight shifts I think I sleep until about 10:30a and no later so it's pretty darn funny to look at my clock right now where it says I slept until about 11:30a. I got all excited for a second and then I remembered that we moved forward an hour. Phooey. At least it means I'm 1 hour closer to getting my hair all prettified.

When you've finished mine are you going to be PM'ing me with the link? not sure how that works....

I'll send you the image so taht you can see it, uploaded to my Photobucket account. You can then either (a) save it to your computer and upload it to your own account and use the code they give you or (b) you can just copy the link from the image I uploaded. Option A is preferable, simply because I tend to move images around in folders a lot and if I did that I would be breaking a lot of images! I've certainly done quite a few so far, lol.

You rock! :woohoo:

I love Mel's purple shirt! I am wearing it when we go in April.

Me too! Love that shirt!! It was very different than anything you can get in the parks. I even had CM's ask me where I got it! Hope we can wear it next year!

Another vote for chocolate with pink or pink with chocolate - just not a fan of white t-shirts!

Actually, I do still have her other design pics. Not sure if they are still something she can do or not. But here they are: (oh, and I think we are done with tie-dye! lol)

I actually really like both of this - very retro and Shag-like!!

I love this (the crown shirt) shirt. It would look great in chocolate brown w/ a pink crown & white or blue Mickey head, or Pink shirt with a chocolate brown crown.

Chocolate brown would be a good color. Not quite as hot as black if it's sunny out. A really nice combo is chocolate and aqua blue. I know there was talk of teal (aqua) as a shirt color for next year. Just a thought. Pink and chocolate is a classic combo.

Chocolate and aqua blue is another great combo!

Happy Sunday!

Jessica, thank you for the info on qouting and posting, I will test it out in the next day or so. Great screen shots, and so easy to follow!

I spent all day yesterday and today reading through Lauries trip reports, I just loved them, took me back to my vacation a month ago. I took pictures, but so not like she did, and we did not eat as well as here, but next time for sure we will. We are always afraid to try new places, but I was so estatic when I saw the Banana stuffed french toast at Storytellers! I can not wait for that!

It is fun to learn there are some other diva's around me!

I just have to say I love all the shirts, just love them, you all are a very talented bunch.

I know I am new, but I would love to partake in the Easter exchange, I will be heading to that thread next.

Hope your all having a great day and weekend. Just relaxing here, gonna test out some new paula deen recipes tonight, I love to cook. Should be interesting - one is a Blue Cheese Bread Pudding. Love Blue Cheese!
