Jane: I don't currently have it in my plans but if it means seeing my Lothario Tyson . . . .

Ty loves his Auntie Cheryl and since we didn't get to see you at Christmas due to the wretched weather, we definitely need to see if we can find a time that works!

Hope that everyone has a great weekend. Today was our first 100 degree day of the season and Ty's soccer game doesn't start until noon tomorrow, so it's gonna be a scorcher!

Just a quick hello suppose to be getting ready for yard sale tomorrow. but I wanted to try out signature Jessica made for me:)

Thank you again Jessica

Have a good weekend everyone.

Morning all.

Just a quick stop in before we are off to the meet. Katy had a blast at the track meet last night and basically every kid got ribbons in all the events. Problem is we are exhausted now LOL.

Have a good day all!!

How was the soccer game?

I hope everyone is have a wonderful weekend.
We had fun at the hotel last night! We didn't make it the parade today, the clouds were ugly & it was sprinkly & then it was a crazy down pour! Glad we opted to go shopping instead. I found Brooke some cute outfits & the boys got shorts & shirts. Now I am tired!

A Happy Mother's Day to everyone !!!

Happy Mother's Day Ladies! Celebrate and relax!

Love Sherri's vintage plate, and of course Trudi's graphic.

Happy Mother's day ladies!!

We had a GREAT day at the meet yesterday and both girls did REALLY well! They both improved a lot on their times and were very happy with their results.

Looking forward to spending the day with the girls and mom today!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day with their loved ones!!

Ty's game was great and it actually wasn't too hot (although Beth probably would have been melting ;)) He had 2 assists ad then scored 3 goals on his won. And, most importantly, 2 of them were actually into the right net this time

The boys got me a Starbucks gift card in lieu of flowers, and they bought me the Mickey Mouse bathroom collection from Target to redo our main bathroom. Then since I requested breakfast for dinner (my fave meal) Dave is making the Crystal Palace breakfast lasagna. Now, I'm watching Cars with Ty and ready to enjoy a kicked back kinda day.

Hope that everyone is having a great Mother's Day!

Hope you all had a great Mother's Day!

I've had a fun Mother's Day. Started out with a family breakfast out at our favorite local place. We gave my Mom a Tinkerbell nightie and her Sedona Adventure Tours gift certificate for Mother's Day. We're looking forward to our Paddles to Pints trip! We had a tasty lunch at Pizza Picazzo in Sedona. What a great day! :D

I'm tapering in anticipation of doing the Whiskey Row on Saturday and my little smartie's all packed for my SoCal/DLR trip. Can't wait to visit the Mouse House tomorrow!!!! :cheer2:

Happy Mother's Day! :rose:

I got to spend the day with ALL my kids, grandson, son-in-law and future daughter-in-law, and they had lunch waiting for me when I got home from church. :goodvibes

All that talk the other day about old shows sent me to the library to find Here Come the Brides, with my teen idol Bobby Sherman  I have been having a great weekend watching the episodes! Tonight we are planning to watch The Goonies since I have never seen it and we are going to Astoria next weekend where it was filmed.

It's nice to hear about all the trips to DL. I won't be going again until February so am looking forward to when the trip planning begins!

Morning all!

Sounds like those of you that have checked in had a nice mothers day!!

Is Beth back yet does anyone know? Looking forward to hearing how her trip went!!

I wish I could say I had a good day yesterday but unfortunately I think doing the track meet on Friday and then turning around and having a swim meet the very next day probably wasn't the best idea LOL. Katy really wanted to do it and I am glad she did. She had a great time at the track meet and did well but on Saturday she was tired and a bit grumpy although both girls did REALLY well at the swim meet ESP Shelby. That is not as much her sport but she did AMAZING! I was really proud of her!

However yesterday Katy woke up and was in a REALLY bad mood. She was extremely grumpy and then Shane was yelling at both girls and it just really killed the mood for me. We were supposed to get together with my mom and go to the jelly belly factory and then have a picnic but the weather got bad and was supposed to rain and between the sour moods and the crummy weather we just blew it off. I was pretty dissapointed but I think it was for the best. Everyone just kind of laid around and recouped yesterday which was probably the best thing. I know my mom was dissapointed as was I but sometimes it is what it is. That is just what happens when you do SO much stuff the rest of the week I guess.

Anywho the girls are back to their star testing this week and I think the majority of it will be over by this week although I think Katy may have a little bit more the beginning of next week but otherwise we actually have a week with nothing going on shockingly other than our normal stuff LOL. I have work today and Shelby has piano and then our swim practices move to an earlier time which is going to be a little tough esp today because we don't get home from piano till 5 and then they have to be at the at the pool at 5:50 so trying to eat dinner in there is going to be tough cuz they don't get done till 7:30 so they pretty much have to eat before. So Mondays may end up being take out days. But the good thing is we have nothing else going on all week OR this weekend. The team has some invitational meets but we are not required to do those and so we are skipping them. Shane may be helping his friend work on his house but the girls and I will be just chilling at home!!

Anyway that's bout it for me.

Again I hope those that have not checked in had a great mom's day and hope everyone has a good week in store!!

Hi!

Just wanted to let you all know that Hot Topic has all it's Pirates of the Caribbean stuff 50% off!

It's online and in the stores. I got a cute zip-up hoodie for $16. They have shirts, blankets, wallets, jewelry, key chains...

Hello, ladies!!!! I'm back!! :teeth:

OMG, what an amazing trip we had. I loved it!!! I always worry when we go on vacation because funds are limited for us, and if things go wrong it's not like we can have a "do-over" a few months later, ya know?
But this was one of those rare trips were everything just clicked, the kids all got along, and it all went great from start to finish!!! :cloud9:

I have tons of pics to post on Facebook, but it's going to take me a while. I don't think I've ever taken that many. Of course many of them are food and scenery, but hey, that's the best part, right? ;)

I am all caught up now. I haven't been on the DIS or FB for a whole week! And I actually survived. LOL Seems like it's been a quiet week, which did make it easy to catch up. Whew!

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday. :flower3:

Amy, sorry to hear about the broken pipes! Ugh, that sucks. I hope by now things have gotten resolved and all fixed up.

Trudi, I laughed at your comment about ordering the Disney planning DVD's just to watch them for the fun of it. I do the same thing!!!! Except I actually get teary eyed watching them. Yes, I am that much of a dork. haha

Sarah, hey girl! Good to see you here. If you read this, I hope by now you are over that cold and getting ready for Hawaii!! Sounds so fun!!!

Lisa, I'm sorry to hear your visit with your mom was so awful. Don't beat yourself up over it. You are not a horrible person, at all!

January, good to see you popping in!!

Linda, darn it. I didn't know you'd be in SD. Shame to have missed each other by just a day. We had a blast, and I hope you did to. I went on that SEAL tour, by the way. Lots of fun! While I was on it I thought of you.

Marie, congrats on the 20 lbs!!! Way to go. I just keep gaining and gaining. Ugh. Oh well. I'm sorry to hear you've been feeling depressed. I hope you are able to get the help you need to get yourself back to feeling good.

Kelly, you make me laugh! No smartphone for me. I was out of touch for a whole week!! It was weird, but good too. Nice to disconnect every now and then.

Jill, enjoy your vacation to Big Bear. I remember seeing your pics from previous trips there and thinking how much fun it looks like you have there.

Jane, yes, at 100 degrees I would be freakin miserable!!! LOL Luckily we had gorgeous weather while we were away. Did not want to come back!! lol You are going to have so much fun while you are there in Carlsbad. I think I saw the hotel you said you booked. By the way, how did the breakfast lasagna turn out?? My family loves it when I make that stuff!

Mel, hope you enjoyed all those parties rolled in to one! Sounds like a fun filled, festive day!

Dianna, Enjoy planning your December DL trip. It's such a fun time to go.

Deb, we loved Sea World! Thanks for the dining recommendation. And how neat of your son's stepmom to do that for you. She sounds like a great lady.

Jen, your post about books makes me remember I need to read more! I used to read for fun all the time, and I miss it.

Cheryl, who's Dmitri?? He sounds hot, just the name alone. ;)

Well, I think I am caught up. Anyone I missed, I hope you had a great week!!!! I'm off to catch up on a week's worth of laundry. LOL :laundy:
Catch y'all later!!

So am I the only one who could care less about the wedding Friday?? You'd think with all the hoopla that we were all british.....I just don't get.......it really doesn't mean anything to the americans does it?? :confused3

Took 3 of the 4 kids to the doc yesterday.....Addy & Anthony are adding a stimulant to go along with their other ADD med & both are now on Prozac for anxiety. Michayla was put on Clonidine to see if we can get her to sleep thru the night. She was taking melatonin which would drop her for a couple hours & then she'd be up most the night, jumping on her sister's heads. Needless to say, none of us are sleeping good right now.....which could be causing my depression.

I'm not a history buff and I don't enjoy going to weddings much, just not my thing. I get that it's a historical event but..well I still don't care.

I feel for you with the kids & not getting sleep. Melatonin works for our anxiety ridden one. I've also found a surprise sleep aid. Swim team! Something about the rhytmic breathing and strokes coupled with the physical exhaustion has been the best thing for DD11's anxiety/ocd. We've been able to wean the meds as long as we can get 3 workouts in a week she has been doing great!
Hope you find something that works for you. I know how hopeless it feels when you aren't getting sleep and you have to deal with the kids' emotional issues on top of that

Not quite caught up but thought I'd give you a review of my last 2 weeks. PTA convention in Long Beach Wed-Sun, Work Mon & Tues, Girl Scout Meeting Wed, Thurs-Sun San Francisco with my girly scouts for the Golden Gate bridging. and right back to work again today.

I just want to sleep in my own bed and not take care of anyone else for a day or two!

I'm famous though! I was quoted in the local newspaper! hehe

Evening Ladies. :goodvibes

I hope you all had a great weekend.

Josh, the kids, and I just got back from a long weekend in Palm Springs. We had a great time.

I wanted to let you all know that I'm scheduled for my heart surgery on Thursday. I'll be back home on Friday. The surgery isn't very invasive (thankfully). They are going in with catheters and using RF energy to 'scar' my heart.

Take care, talk to you soon.

Steph
