Hope you are all doing well I went to the mall yesterday and got a 12th Buzz vinylmation. I was trying to find Evil Dr. Porkchop. I just want one of him and I will be done with the TS series. I hope to find him. I also want the Stitch vinylmation from the Animation Series but have had no luck with that.

Airfares have gotten so screwy that we are actually considering hauling our big old Suburban all the way to DL with us in October. Even taking into consideration the $400 airline voucher I have and the Suburban's terrible gas mileage + parking in Anaheim it is currently working out cheaper than flying to DL and renting a car for the week we will be in AZ after Anaheim for the wedding...ENORMOUS SIGH! Here's hoping for some airfare wars to happen SOON!

I am so glad you all have been pretty quiet this past week. I was dreading checking DIS and seeing 30 new pages. Lucklily for me it was only 4 or 5 pages. Did anyone pick up the newest Sookie Stackhouse book? On Monday I won a gift card for Barnes and then Tuesday headed over to see what I could get. There was the pretty pink book waiting and calling my name. So far, so good. I picked up Lincoln Lawyer too. Good times.

We are planning a trip to DL for July 25th and 26th. Just a short trip, but I am looking forward to it.

Lately I've been seeing pretty inexpensive last minute fares--is that something you could maybe do?

I haven't checked in for awhile but I saw someone mention airfare...

Right now (through today) there are $59/one way airfare to LAX most days from now till October from San Jose, CA. The sale ends today though.

I've been watching it closely both for me and my best friend.

My friend will be flying from Houston in June. Currently Southwest has airfare to/from SNA to HOU for as low as $104... a pretty good rate! I haven't checked other cities but you might want to have a look at southwest.

It's been awhile since I've been on the boards. It's actually been awhile since I've been on the internet (except to pay bills and that's no fun) but I'm on a mission to catch up. I hope everyone is doing well. Up here in Chico, we just had our first 90 degree day yesterday. It is way too early in the season to be that hot. I'm hoping it cools down soon. I'm also looking forward to school being over - 3 more weeks and Madison is out of school for summer. All I can say is YEA, it's been a busy year.

Well I'm off to read past pages and catch up with everyone. I hope you all have had a great day!!

I'm so excited and just had to share!! Just got an email that I got into the SF Nike Women's Half Marathon in October!! My friend and I have been trying to get in for a couple of years but never get picked in the lottery!!! Woo Hoo!!

That's great Bridget!!! It's great that you stuck with trrying to get it but it's even greater that you can actually do a half marathon. I would surely die and I'm not kidding. Good luck!

Wanted to go up to Oregon and was planning to visit with Miss Laurie, but prices up there are OUTRAGEOUS! Couldn't get anything less than $250 before taxes for the times we needed. Definitely a future trip!

I have to say my son has the BEST step mom in the world! She is AMAZING! She sent me the best mommas day present! $100 in Disney Dollars, Starbucks card, fuzzy socks, and a colored picture from Joe her son (who things that I am his other mommy, silly kids). I couldn't have picked a better stepmom! She says she appreciates me & the good job I am doing with the kid & she had a witch of a step mom and vowed to be different. Yep, she rocks!

I am heading to Wenatchee tmrw for the Apple blossom parade. My BFF & her son, and my 2 youngest (Jordan thinks he is too "old" to hang out with us & the little kids, so he is staying home with my BF), it should be fun!

Trudi- We'll be at DL from December 4-10, staying at the Desert Inn & Suites. I got such a great deal on the room. It's two adjoining rooms, 4 Queens, 1 full bathroom, 1 half-bathroom for just over $100/night!
It's actually a bit too much room for the 4 of us, but it was just too good to pass up. I might have to invite my mom to come with us.

Our first family trip to DL was in late November, and it was absolutely perfect - no crowds, beautiful Christmas decorations, Santa at the BT Ranch.
The first week in December will probably be more crowded than I would like, but I certainly didn't want to go during Thanksgiving. Yikes!

That is a great deal. I haven't stayed at that hotel but heard it's nice. I always make a Christmas trip and last year went the first weekend in Dec. What days will you be in the parks? I see you arrive on a Sunday and leave on a Sat. The only 2 days I can go. Got a feeling you won't be in the parks those days. If you are I'll make a trip to say hello and meet your family.

Well my kick back last few days are over and now things are going to get crazy the next few days! I have work today and then I have to hurry home and pick up the girls and then go straight over to the high school where the girls swim for the track meet. It is kind of an informal thing for 5th and 6th graders and we have to register then and there before it starts so not sure how long the line will be but then she has 6 different events she can participate in so I am hoping she does well!!

Shane has to work of course and normally doesn't get home till 5 or 5:30 so chances are he may not see much of it because he has to go to the store and get our lunch stuff for the swim meet tomorrow. I just hope we don't come to regret this but Katy REALLY wants to do this so we shall see.

Then it is up BRIGHT and early (prob 5) tomorrow for the swim meet. Hopefully it won't be too long of a day and then I am really looking forward to Sunday. Haven't firmed up my plans with mom yet but after today and tomorrow it will be nice to have a "relax" day!!

Hey everyone!! Heather and I were at the Disney Store in the mall yesterday and they had a box of the TS Vinylmations so I picked each one up and decided which one was Buzz and guess what?? I was right!! So now I'm on my way to getting all of the Toy Story VM. I only have Buzz and Rex so far...

I am still reading the Murder She Baked series.

I love those books! I went and checked her website and I think I'm 2 books behind so I put them on hold at the library. I just finished the 4th Kingdom Keepers book so I need something new to read.

Going up to Prescott this weekend, where it's much cooler than here in Phoenix, where it's supposed to be around 100; only mid-70s up there!

It is the book series that True Blood is based off of. Such a great series - much more of an adult vampire series. I have a hard time not falling for some of the fictional men err...vampires and other creatures...in the novels.

Hope you all have a happy Friday. I heard that there is some vinyl trading taking place tonight. I want to try to make it down there after work if I can. This one person posted that they are bringing at least 50 for trading. If I go I hope I can find some cool ones

Congrats Stacie on getting Buzz! I found one for a friend last night when we went to Disney Store. She doesn't collect these but she just wanted Buzz because she said his helmet is cute.

I discovered that it's too much pressure to find a Buzz if someone is with me. I think I should just stick to finding them and having people trade or pay me later for one. It's hard when it's not my money on the line. My friend and I also had to deal with this witchy CM that was just bothering us and kept shooting us dirty looks like we were going to steal something. I don't even squeeze the boxes or dent them like I've seen people do. I just lift and shake the box and put them back.
