Hello - has anyone had the need for distilled water while at a Disney resort? Wondering if it's available for purchase at the resort stores. TIA.
Yes the resort stores should all have it in stock for Guest's that use C-Pap machines. It may not be displayed so just ask a CM and they can get it from the back.Hello - has anyone had the need for distilled water while at a Disney resort? You brew Starbucks using Distilled water? Starbucks uses ultra-premium "triple filtered, reverse osmosis water filtration system' for tap water. We have it delivered as part of our grocery order to make our Starbucks in the room.
Thanks!Yes the resort stores should all have it in stock for Guest's that use C-Pap machines. It may not be displayed so just ask a CM and they can get it from the back.

I don’t believe the Mr coffees makers have a filtration system and it doesn’t taste good with the tap water from the resorts. You brew Starbucks using Distilled water? Starbucks uses ultra-premium "triple filtered, reverse osmosis water filtration system' for tap water.
Distilled water will leach minerals out of your coffee brewing equipment since all the minerals are removed in the distilling process.

They don't but distilled water also tastes terrible. The tap water at the resorts does have a sulfur taste.I don’t believe the Mr coffees makers have a filtration system and it doesn’t taste good with the tap water from the resorts.
Why not order a gallon of Drinking water and save the plastic waste from another case of bottled water. It will be reverse osmosis water filtered just like you get at Starbucks.I guess I could just order another case of water instead of the gallon of distilled water?
That’s why we order the distilled water because they don’t offer gallons of purified water with the company I shop with. We don’t find that there’s any taste in the distilled water but again our taste buds are different from yoursThey don't but distilled water also tastes terrible. This is so good to know. Thank you!Yes, DH has been able to get distilled water for his cpap. Just ask at the front desk and they'll either have some under the counter or point you in the right direction (gift shop, food court...)
It's usually in the gift shop - at Boardwalk, it's at the Screen Door. This is so good to know. Thank you!
Dave from the "Top of the World" podcast would certainly not recommend using tap water from BLT! It has been a long a time since I heard that episode (or any episodes for that matter) but he said it really messed him up. I think they got in late so the gift shop wasn't open.FYI, I talked with my doctor about the times when I do not have distilled water for my Cpap and he said that it is perfectly fine to use regular water for a short time, 2 weeks max. It takes longer then that for buildup to occur in the machines, and he said to use bottled water over tap water.
