Distancing in Disney World restaurants?

Is there any distancing these days inside Disney World restaurants, or are tables close together and occupied? I'm vaccinated but still a bit wary of inside dining.

They don't seem to be as distanced as earlier in the pandemic. (We've visited WDW 8 times since the reopening.) I feel like the only ones that still seemed more distanced were Topolino's and 'Ohana when I was there in October. Places like Beaches and Cream felt like they were seating people like normal. If you feel wary of indoor dining, there are still some places where you can dine outside like Homecomin', Boathouse, Rose & Crown, and Geyser Point to name a few. You can also get some meals to go via MDE like Kona Cafe or Sanaa if you prefer to bring something back to your room.

No, I did not see any distancing in September, with the exception of the California Grill. But you are still on the elevator with other parties. Kona was packed.

We are vaxxed (got boosters before the trip too). I have MS and have been wary of indoor dining as well, but we did not feel crammed in at any WDW restaurants last week and all the staff was masked. Some of that might be more due to staffing issues right now though as opposed to safety considerations, as they don't seem to have the capacity to seat all tables.

We visited a few lounges at "off" times and were not directly next to anyone at the bars (we usually try to snag something on the ends anyway). Exception was dining at the new Space 220 at a table and saw when leaving that their bar was packed full when we left, although not all the lounge tables were filled. Some places like Citrico's seem to have tables fairly spread apart anyway and the booths at California Grill had dividers on top. We felt safe everywhere except we didn't do as much with Epcot Food and Wine this year since it was insanely crowded. We did a few things at opening from the back resort entrance and it was initially not busy on that side, but by the time we got around the lagoon to Mexico the lines were crazy. Park reservations made it harder for us to enjoy doing F&W booths at lunch during the week when less busy because we wanted to do things at other parks and you could only hop starting at 2 pm.

I was just there last week and I'd say no distancing was really enforced. Some had more natural spacing (we ate at Space220 at a booth and nobody was near us) BUT we are at Chef Mickey, Hollywood Brown Derby... all close. Same for Yak and Yeti... basically everywhere. We didn't feel unsafe, but that's all personal comfort.

2 weeks ago, no distancing in restaurants or anywhere else, just fill all available space!

This was my experience, too - I didn't experience intentional distancing as in due to covid but didn't feel cramped/crammed in as they weren't filling every table (due to staffing).
