Distance? SSR-->DTD walkway?

Hi- Does anyone know how far the walk is from congress park section to DTD? I hear it isn't that far, but how far is "not that far"??? lol Is it comparable to the walk from Boardwalk to Epcot? A mile? Half mile?

Also, how big is this resort? Is there another resort to compare it to size wise? Bigger than CBR?

Never been to SSR so I am trying to gauge size and distance... I have an ADR @ Fultons and I want to make sure I have enough time!

From the Congress Park area it is .36 miles to Fulton's.

Also, how big is this resort? Is there another resort to compare it to size wise? Bigger than CBR?

SSR is slightly larger than CBR and is laid out differently so it feels even larger.

You're welcome. CBR is our favorite resort and found SSR to be lovely as well.

CBR is one of my favorite resorts. SSR feels so much larger than CBR b/c it is not laid out around anything central. It is very spread out. I definitely missed CBR on this past trip and would only consider SSR again if it was free (my dad gave me his points.)

Good luck! .....but with all that being said, Congress Park is definitely the closest to DTD and if you are ok with the quiet pool there (no slide I don't think) then you should be ok.

We stayed in Grandstand and used the pools at Grandstand, Paddock & The Springs. We went to DTD twice.

Perhaps the easiest thing to do for that is to go to Google Maps and enter SSR address; 1960 Broadway, Orlando, FL 32830
