Distance from POR to Boardwalk

We are renting a car. First trip. If we walked to get a breakfast goodie at the Broadway Bakery one morning, how long is the drive from POR? Also, want to do they open in the AM? Thanks.

It should only take about 10 minutes or so. When you leave the gates at POR you make a left...take that to the second light & make a right...stay straigt until you see the BoardWalk entrance...on your right... I want to say they are open as early as 8am.
