Distance btw villas and hotel rooms at AK and Wilderness lodge?

Hi! I'm planning a trip with a large group and we are going to get a villa while the rest of the family gets hotel rooms. Looking at Animal Kingdom or Wilderness Lodge. Does anyone know how far apart the villas are from the hotel rooms? Thanks so much for your help!

At AKV/Jambo, the villas are in the same building as the hotel rooms (5th floor). AKV/Kidani is a separate building; I haven't stayed there yet so I'll leave that question to someone else.

VWL is right next door to WL. There's a covered walkway that connects the two buildings; the bus depot is in between the buildings, about halfway down that walkway. It's less than a 5 minute walk to get from one building to the other. Unless someone in the group has difficulty walking, I can't see it as a problem when meeting up with others staying at WL.
