Distance between Floridian and Polynesian

If I ride the monorail to the Floridian form MK, how far is it to walk to the Polynesian in the event I want to just visit the resort?

If you board the Monorail at the Magic Kingdom to visit the Grand Floridian you will need to take the Resort Monorail (toward the left) at the Magic Kingdom Station. The resort monorail travels clockwise meaning the first stop will be the CR.,TTC, Poly and then the Grand Floridian. If you want to visit the Polynesian just jump off the monorail at the Poly before visiting the Grand Floridian, then you can get back on the monorail from the Poly to continue your ride to the Grand Floridian. Once your at the GF you could walk to the Poly (under a mile) or you could ride on one of the Resort boats back over.

The walk from monorail station to monorail station is 1/2 mile, but figure at least a mile of walking if you want to explore both resorts and walk between them.

It is a short walk from the GF to Poly... maybe 5-10 minutes.

If I remember right it's a very nice walk that goes by the Wedding Pavilion.

The best walk is on the beach. It is a nice 1/2 mile walk...maybe. And as it it overlooks the Seven Seas lagoon it is very nice romantic walk. As others have said you could just hop off at Poly and then walk over to GF. Both are great resorts and a must to check out if you have not done so before. Love breakfast at Kona's Cafe

I use the GF health club, and the walk from the Poly is a really nice path along the beach. It only took me about 5 mins.

Its just a hop, skip, and a jump.

We enjoy walking the path between the two resorts. We normally do it after dinner and it isn't long at all.
