DISsed Men of the World - UNITE!!

I will continue the fight, fending off the spell of the mouse. I cannot believe that all you people allow yourselves to be sucked in.

As for the pirate love, how many of you women would allow your husbands/men oogle Scarlett Johansen the way you all desire Johnny Depp? Not many I am sure. And my wife is one of you ... I hate double standards.

I wouldnt mind- but my DH isnt like that- he is not one to "oogle".....I am the one who loves Scarlett- I have to see all of her movies! When I try and explain to DH who she is it takes me about 10 minutes!

Now I think DH has a little secret thing for Michele Smith (the blonde biker chick) from American Thunder on Speed TV!- I can see why-- we kind of tease each other about our little crushes!- :rotfl: Not a big deal!

But what if we have "the list" RULES (like on Friends)- then...uh-oh!:rolleyes1

It is reverse in my house. I am the Disney nut while DW does her thing on the laptop. She still doesn't get the LGMH thing, oh well.

Keep working on her. Persistence pays off. You may even want to recruit the kids into the conversion effort. :rolleyes1

My husband feels the same way. He cannot understand why I spend so much time on the board. I think it has to do with talking to people who share the same interest as me. I can talk about Disney all day with the wonderful people of the DIS and not feel silly. My husband gets tired of talking about Disney because he is (gasp!) not into it so I go on the disboards. However, he did mention last night that he would like to go back next Christmas!

I can think of a lot more things that are worse than being addicted to the Disboards.
So, just put on a pair of Crocs and join in on the addiction!:rotfl:
:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

LMAO!!!

My DH is in Iraq and has gotten onto me several times for talking about Disney World while on the phone with him. We just had our first trip this past July and you see I am still on these boards.

But I see signs of him turning into a Dis'er:

1)While at Disney he made the following comment "I would like to come back for 10 days so we could enjoy the resort more."
2)While discussing that his next assignment might be in Valdosta, GA he made the comment, "We would only be 4 or 5 hours from Orlando."

See, he just tries to hide his addiction! Right now I am pushing for 10 days in 2008 for Star Wars weekends. Hey, I have to put up with his Star Wars, Sci-Fi, Comic Book addictions, he can handle a little Disney World.

She loves disney, so do the kids. She just doesn't get my addiction to the DIS. Maybe I should give her some Lime Green Kool-Aid.:thumbsup2

I know that in my case, everyone at home screams whenever I start talking about Disney. So this is the only place that I can chat away about the Happiest Place on Earth :cloud9: . Plus get some great tips on my upcoming trip!!!! :cheer2:

I think our family room set-up makes DIS'ing a bit more of a joint endeavor. We've got a computer hooked up to the TV and a wireless keyboard and mouse. :surfweb: We can sit on the couch together and read/respond to posts that interest us. We can pass the mouse keyboard back and forth based upon who wants to respond...

:rotfl: This is a great thread!!
I just had Dh read it and he agreed!
I think he's a secret member though, I catch him lurking here on the boards too. He just won't admit he loves Disney as much as the rest of us;)

Can I come live with you guys??:woohoo:

DW (sitting next to me on the couch) wants to know if you will babysit while you're here?

eeek! Now that would be a problem!

I guess you are not familiar with my posts on the "Marrieds choosing not to have kids" thread! .......:rolleyes1

I would have to say a big NO to that-- I guess I cant join your family afterall.........

Sorry guys!
