Dissapointing park hours in March

The operating hours for wdw parks are out and, I have to say, they are very dissapointing. Considering how crowded the parks get in March, I thought the parks might close a little later.

Anyway, park hours are Disney's website: www.waltdisneyworld.com.

I thought with Easter being so late this year (April 22 I think) that we got nice March hours. Looks like there's several Spectros in the month and I've read (but not seen officially) that there's a couple of e-nights each week? Is there somewhere official we can look at the March e-night schedule?

Those hours look pretty good! I am glad to see that there will be a Spectromagic parade Monday March 24th, as we will only be there Sunday through Thursday!

WooHoo!!!

I have been going to WDW in MArch since 1997 and those are basicaly the same hours that they have had all along !!

but do check at the entrance becasue sometimes an hour gets added that is not on the actual online schedule!

the only time I found longer opereating hours was last year when Easter fell in March!

You can see LAST YEAR'S March hours here:March '02 Hours

Even if you take out the last week which lead up to Easter, this year's hours are shorter.

You can also click on March '01 hours and find that they were longer than '02.

I wouldn't call the changes dramatic from year to year, but it adds up...

It seems like they have been extending hours closer to the date if they see crowds are larger. That happened to us in early December.

Sue Z.... THANKS for the countdown to the Red Sox home opener!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In addition to my Disney trip in April, it's the other event that keeps me going through these loooooong winter months!!

We went March 8 - 17 in 2002 and while the MK hours are shorter this year by 1 hour, all else are exactly the same for that time period, except that last year Epcot was opening an hour later. Times were changed at MK before we left and I believe there were changes once we got there. We were a little disappointed at first too, but crowds were manageable and we were able to get so much done on our trip.

There are more fireworks and Spectro's at MK this March than there were last March.
