Has anyone ever been told no when asking to ride in the front row? DH wanted to ask on our last trip, but I felt funny. Is this a normal thing to ask?

Easily one of the most over rated attractions of all time!
When we got off she was screaming, crying, and yelling at me "Why did you put us on that thing. We were all the way up in the sky. We could have fallen out and drownded in the water." She really thought we were up in the sky really flying over all of those things. I had to take her back to the hotel after that and calm her down. That was the end of her WDW experiences. She said "Get me out of here" and was ready to go back home.
I have a different kind of disappointing experience. Last year 2/06 I took my MIL to WDW with us. She is from Nigeria and has never been to an amusement park before. We got on Soarin and as we started going up into the air. All you could hear is screams of terror. When we got off she was screaming, crying, and yelling at me "Why did you put us on that thing. We were all the way up in the sky. We could have fallen out and drownded in the water." She really thought we were up in the sky really flying over all of those things. Cute story, even though I don't believe it for a second.

How did she GET HERE from Nigeria?
Anyone who can make that kind of trip is not going to be fooled by a 2D movie.
Next time you tell it, make the protagonist a young child.
