Not sure exactly what I was expecting, but I was dissapointed in my Mickey Mail I received today. My ME luggage tags were in it of course, but then the only other thing I got was a brochure about where the ME pick up was. I already knew that.

Everyone is always so excited about getting the mail I guess I just built it up too much.

I'm excited about my trip for sure!

Too Funny! We DIS lovers get excited with anything Disney :lmao:
Meanwhile its a good reminder that putting extra build up for your DIsney vacation can lead to being disappointed instead, go in thinking you'll have a good time, and you will and any extra special moments are just that, EXTRA special. I hope you a have a great time making memories with your family.
It truly is a MAGICAL vacation!:wizard:

That is so true!
Just the other day I went to the mailbox to get the mail and I pull out an envelope from Disney Destinations! I was thrilled. :cloud9: It was just trip planning infor for our upcoming trip but it was just so exciting getting something from Disney. :lovestruc

Magical Express documents and your package documents come separately. So you still have some "stuff" coming. :thumbsup2

They do not send as much as they used to so don't get to excited. We got a brochure about the MYW pkg, A dining plan brochure , and a conf letter/resort itenerary.

I'm getting excited for my first set of Mickey Mail to show!! It doesn't have to be anything extravagant. This is our first trip so anything would be neat.

Actually, I think the mail is better now. I like the "What Will you Celebrate" booklet format. Made it look all pretty ;):rotfl: But yes, to the OP, you won't be getting anything too exciting other than your luggage tags (not ME ones...plastic ones) and this year you'll get your gift card for the arcardes if you booked a package. Because it's in booklet format, you won't be getting the plastic envelope with embossed Mickey heads anymore.

:scared1: What!!! I loved getting that plastic envelope with the embossed Mickey head........I'm serious......:sad1: We will just have to continue the mail magic with dern paper....:sad2:

Ok, I'm better now. Got more Mickey Mail today that included my special celebration luggage tags and our trip reservations and lots of coupons! :cool1:

If I were you I would call. The paper work usually arrives 4-5 weeks out.

I got Mickey mail only to find out my DH's ME ticket/baggage tag wasn't included. :scared1: I called and they didn't have his flight # .:confused3. Got it all straightened out now and am waiting on more Mickey mail. :goodvibes

Did you book your trip through Disney? I booked mine through American Airlines and didn't receive my vouchers until 17 days prior to the trip. I just got my ME vouchers today with 14 days to go. Apparently, it's American's policy for some reason. Annoying, I know.

awe are about nonplanning the trip days.Or a lose flexable plan.

i have gone a few times and we have our favorites, which everyones are different. No one person can control everyones elses experience. So when controling ds 34, acting like a 10 yr old, was making things miserable. We had to set bounderies not to have a cement plan.

If Mom wanted to stand in line for Dumbo, go eat or something, the day is not ruined. To him waiting in line when we could be half way to the train while "discussing" Mom's choice, we felt like the trip was going down hill. DH swears we will not go together again :rotfl2:

With ds's pituatary tumor and busted up back there were many moments of stress, hormonal over reaction, arguements...but, it all is gone when you remember...
We remember the wonderful moments, the grand experiences. Our grandsons first meeting with Mickey,
Memories of my dd last trip the fall before she passed away.

sure there are glinches, don't let them lurk. There is a lot more pleasure and the less structure and flexability with a little imput to what is important that day for each person should be considered and figure out how to work it in,

Give and take. watch the joy as you make dreams come true and memories to keep always. there will be arguements to go here or there and when to do it....but time is gone in a moment a memory is forever.

I booked through CAA - I called on Wednseday and asked if the stuff was there so I could pop in and pick it up and my TA said "no, not yet, they should be here a couple of weeks before you go" So then without panic I told her it WAS a couple (2) weeks before I go!! :confused3

So....then she said they should be here next week. So if I don't hear from her by Wednesday I'll call again.
