We have our RV on a seasonal site in an RV park/campground. Technically they are only open for 11 months of the year, so they do not fall under the Ontario Landlord Tenant Act. We have a dispute about some chattel property that they are insisting must remain on site. They claim it is their "policy", but I say just because they write it down, it doesn't make it legal! They actually have no legal right to ask for or demand it.
I have contact our lawyer, and he requested copies of our lease agreement. I emailed the owner twice, and left a voice mail, asking her to fax copies "of any and all lease agreements". So far, she has completely ignored me. We are removing our trailer at the end of this month (end of rental season) and we want to make sure we do everything properly so we don't end up with some trumped up bill.
Does anybody know what jurisdiction they DO fall under?
