Disposable Dollar Store Ponchos, Can .....

a person use the same poncho for the duration of the trip? Just place the used poncho into a plastic bag to be used again if needed? I ask because they seem to be marketed as a "one time" use poncho. You know the ones, come two to a pack for a $1.

If you have used these ponchos at the parks, what do you do with them? Toss them and bring enough for everyday at the park, or reuse?

I sure hope it wouldn't rain everyday of your trip! I would bring at least two per person. You can reuse them, but you'd want to hang them up to dry, and that's a pain! I wish for you a sunshiney trip!

They're kinda thin, rip easily, but I suppose you could wear them more than once or twice. I'd take 2 pp though.

We found the ones at Walmart to be much more durable than Disney's or the dollar store's. Wind ripped ours from the dollar store.

I was wondering if a poncho from target/walmart that was a little more expensive might be a better purchase?

I bought some ponchos at Walmart. The ones in the sporting section are very similar to the ones in the rain gear section. The ponchos in sporting section were cheaper. I found kid sized ponchos at the Dollar General. These are very nice.

We used them last week when it rained and rained and rained one day. We had them on for awhile then took them off and hung them up when we went back to the room to change and eat dinner. Before we went back to the park that night, I refolded them and put them in my backpack. We pulled them out and used them again. We could have used them again but they were a little stretched out so we just tossed them because I had more (which we didnt use).
