Looking for the cheapest and easiest way to get from a DisneyWorld on-site resort, to the port for a cruise.
TIA! :)

Usually a one-way car rental.

I have to agree, however, it does depend on the party size too. if it's just one person cruising, then the bus ($35 per person, per way) would be cheaper. We always rent a car and drive ourselves.

I usually go by myself, so it is definitely the least expensive route to use the transfer and just figure it as the cost of the trip.

If you have a larger group, it may be beneficial to rent a car, but again I always just include it as part of the cost of the cruise, even when I invite friends.

To me, you spend that much money to go on a cruise, I prefer to let them do the driving.

We just did a one way rental to the cruise and then again from the cruise. Budget price was $36 each way and that included the gas.

I booked my car 4 days before our trip when the last minute rates were released.

Budget had 3 free shuttle vans waiting to take people/luggage to the ship. He told us where to find him when the ship returned and he would take us back to the rental off.

Very easy!
