I ordered t-shirts (not matching) for all of us from Santa for our upcoming trip. I opened the box yesterday to check everything out...DH's shirt was missing and in it's place was a pair of toddler size xxs hot pink pajamas.:rotfl::rotfl: Somehow don't think they'll fit....:laughing:
 
I had some mixups and disappointments with them too! I wonder if it's the seasonal help? I ordered some canisters and got a door knob. I called them and they sent the right ones right away. I also ordered a XMas ornament that was broken. I am sure your DH will get a kick out of the Pjs lol
 
I am really disappointed today. I order gift cards NOVEMBER 8th. They shipped on DECEMBER 3rd! That in itself is frustrating. however, my mom ordered some on the same day mine shipped and were mailed the 5th! AND I already got them! I have been emailing with Disney and they want me to wait until December 18th before I freak out. WHAAA? that's cutting it to close to Christmas for me!

:laughing: that's hilarious! I hope you get the right shirt in time!!! Too bad those pj's didn't come here to our house! I'm sure they would have fit DD :laughing:

But now it's making me nervous for my Disney order. I got a few of those dolls that were $10 the other day. I'm hoping the right ones come or else my niece might be getting something really wrong for Christmas!
 
This has now happened to me twice. First was for a sweatshirt that I really wanted. What came to our home was a man's polo shirt...correct size...just not the right item. Interesting thing, though, is that the skew number on the polo shirt was the same as the skew number for the sweatshirt. So someone goofed!

Just last night we received another Disney box. We were supposed to be getting two Vinylmations (Pie-eyed Mickey.) What we got were two Vinylmations (Marie - from Aristocats.) Again, the skew number on the cat box was the exact same skew as on the Pie-eyed Mickey order. So again, someone goofed.

Something is definitely wrong with the skew numbers being place on the wrong items. This is also costing Disney...they let us keep the mistaked items...and gave us a refund!

I ordered a personalized Princess book for my neice...and got that correctly. Two days later another package shows up with my shipping label, but with someone elses personalized book in it. Since there's no last name on the book, no one's been able to trace who's order is missing the personalized book.
 
i received my black friday order last week and was missing 2 items. I emailed CS and they said they shipped separately but I still haven't gotten them.
 
I placed an order on Thanksgiving (I could not use the free shipping promo on my order because I used an employee discount, so I paid for shipping.). Got an email saying one of the items was back-ordered. Said they weren't expecting it until the 29th of Dec. Okay, no big deal, I'll just put it away for DS's birthday next summer. Two days later, get another email saying item is in and shipped. It arrived on Monday (the 6th). I'm still waiting for the rest of the order, it isn't even scheduled to arrive until tomorrow the 10th. Funny thing too, the back ordered item came usps, and the 'big' box is coming ups. I thought ups was supposed to be faster. :confused3
 
I once ordered 2 sets of sheets, and got 2 pairs of large (women's size 11) flat Minnie slip on sneakers. Again, the sku on the sneakers was the same as the sheets. They also let me keep the big sneaks, I donated them to a charity, did not know anyone that size. It was funny to pull weird items out of the box like this.
 
Seems like it happens quite a lot, it happened to me too a few months ago. I called CS and explained the situation and it was resolved but what if they ran out of what I ordered? I was freaking out!

Also I hate how when they show tee shirts or something and it just says tee shirt. Not that it's for a man or a boy, which would clearly define what kind of size. Actually I emailed them a customer comment and got a nice email in return. I want them to get things right, I'm a stockholder!
 
Last year I ordered an XL shirt for my DH and got a size 3 toddler girls dress. Last month I ordered an XL black polo shirt for DH and got the shirt in powder blue. DH will definitely not wear that color. E-mailed DS and was informed that the shirt was now out of stock but I could keep the blue shirt and I would receive a credit on my card. Got a call about two weeks ago and was told the black polo was now back in stock and would I like it shipped. I hesitated but the CM talked me into it when he said I would not have to pay shipping. He said that he had checked with the warehouse and the shirt was definitely in stock. About a week later I received an e-mail informing me the shirt was out of stock and back-ordered until after Christmas. Since I was given the option to cancel the order I did so because at that point I didn't want the shirt anymore.
 
UPDATE

Heard from Disney store today via email and the shirt is on backorder and they don't know when/if they will get it in...They also told me I could keep the pj's - not sure what I will do with them since I have 2 boys 9 and 11.... They told me they would give me a full refund or merchandise credit. I responded asking for a different t-shirt. It is a little more expensive, but there are no t shirt listed for the price I paid. Wonder what will happen? We have a disney store close by so I can pick up something there at least...

as PP's have said - the label on the the pj's was for the t-shirt too. wonder how much money they are losing due to this?
 
You can add us to the list of crazy orders. Has happened to me a few times actually :mad: Once I received three of something I ordered one of, I got totally different shirts than those we ordered, I was missing the same item twice, etc. I have all but given up ordering on-line from them since they really can't seem to get it right. And it seems that every time it happens the item I really wanted is no longer in stock:headache:
 
When you contacted them did you send and email or is there a phone number somewhere? My order just arrived and I too got the wrong vinylmation. Ordered Marie and Tinkerbelle came...and like others posted, have the same sku numbers. UGH!!!

When I responded asking for a different shirt a got a generic email stating that they can't accept donations at this sight:confused3:. It had a different email address to contact.

I found a phone number, said to keep Tink and "sorry, Marie is all out." UGH!!! Was a super long wait though, lines are really busy. I'll pm you teh number, not sure if I am allowed to post it.

I just had this happen to me. Not Disneystore.com but nba.store.com.

SO is a huge Spurs fan, and they just so happen to be playing the Orlando Magic on Dec. 23rd. I "secretly" bought us tix to the game, he has no idea. We were going to be in Orlando for the Xmas holiday anyway.

I ordered a Spurs hoodie for him (among other things) and got myself a woman's Spurs shirt to wear to the game (he has several Spurs articles of clothing, but I have none and I thought he would get a kick out of it that I was "participating").

My order of 5 items shipped in 3 different shipments. The first of which arrived before the website even showed it shipped. The second box was to contain 3 items including SO's hoodie and my shirt plus another article of clothing for SO. I have everything shipped to my office so I know someone will be able to sign for it. It arrived yesterday and I opened the box straight away (because I wanted to try my shirt on and make sure it was the right size) and it was missing from the box!

I called the nba.store.com cust serv and explained that it wasn't in the box, etc. They were very nice, but it is now out of stock. The told me they would credit my account and send me via email a coupon for 20% off my next purchase. At least it wasn't a present for SO but it was still very disappointing.
