Hey all! I'm finally done with school!



But surprisingly, that's not why I'm so excited today!
I wanted to share the story with y'all...
My sister and her Dbf of 9 years are down at WDW and are staying at WL.
They arrived yesterday, and the check-in desk said they had a surprise for them. They were whisked to the ROOF of WL, and while they overlooked all 4 parks, not to mention all of Bay Lake and 7 Seas Lagoon, my sister turned around to find her Dbf down on one knee! Needless to say, she said yes, and if that wasn't enough, the WL staff gave them a little engagement gift....they upgraded them to the Yosemite (Vice-Presidential) Suite for the entirety of their stay (7 nights)!

Wowza right?

hi all, pretty new to the board, we are staying YC garden view dec 15-23. we are hoping for ground floor and quiet... don't care how far we have to walk but when we stayed at contempo, we were at the very far end, as far away from lobby and tower as possible. we loved green space and the water right outside our sliding doors. another bonus, kids being able to play right outside our room while park prepping in progress. cut down on the "are we going now??" every 12 seconds. any suggestions on how to request???

love the thread for all the details, you guys rock!!! perhaps too much info, splitting resorts never even OCCURRED to me...... lol!

Call Disney reservations and request ground floor near lobby or near wedding chapel.

Decorated my Magic Band tonight! I love Lacoste, so this reminded me of that, and then I love monograms, so done deal! It's slightly crooked (which is bothering me,) but once it's on and I'm in the park I won't care

Hi, all! We are staying at YC for the first time next week! So excited! We are planning to get there around 9:00 am! I read the bell services will hold luggage but won't deliver it to your room until you get back from the parks and call them. I have a one year old and think it might justbe easier if we got our own luggage instead of having to wait. Does anyone else do this? Do they let you have a luggage rack to use?

Oh My gosh everybody! Thanks for all the Birthday wishes. I had a fabulous day taking my boys to the beach. Since they are teenagers it's especially easy to embarrass them as only I can. The birthday queen MADE them pose with all the cartoon characters and wooden cut outs that we encountered on the boardwalk. The day was filled with laughter, pizza, caramel corn, fudge and ice cream. It was the perfect birthday!

I just discovered that my Lyme doctor won against charges brought against him from the greedy insurance companies hiding behind stupid screening test protocols developed by doctors with patents making millions based on a single bacterium isolated from a tick with no proof of human disease pathology that was isolated over fifty years ago. He still has a license and continues to be allowed to save lives from chronic Lyme disease that these fools expect us to believe does not exist. Sorry, but I'm so happy to learn that right can overcome sometimes.
