Just got home but.......add us to the Be Our Guest list 10/5/17-10/14/17 BCV Studio

I have a question.
Does anyone know how the balcony lights work?
I always bring a little reading light for the early morning hours and I always forget to ask someone at the resort.
There's no switch to turn on the overhead balcony light, at least that I have been able to find.
I don't think they all stay on or go off overnight- look at this photo.
Any rhyme or reason?
I do see that the rooms that are lit up have a solid overhang rather than an awning.
I would love to have a room that had the balcony light, but then again, would it be so bright that it could disrupt sleep?

The resort rooms have a single cup Cuisinart coffee maker that uses flat pods. They look like round tea bags. Dee has a picture of them on page 1 of this threads.39 Days! I'm trying to order a few things from Garden Grocer. I've seen lots on this thread about the coffee makers in the villas, but what kind of coffee maker is in the regular rooms? TIA
No. The 6:00 AM coffee only access was discontinued a few years ago. The Marketplace opens at 7:00 AM. Coffee is available for purchase beginning at 6:00 AM at the Ale & Compass Lounge located in the Yacht Club lobby.I will be at the Beach Club in 3 weeks and was wondering if the Marketplace still opens at 6am for coffee?

do all the studios have full balconies? and what are the best ones to request? will be staying may 10-15

All BCV studios have a full balcony [or patio]. Balcony sizes do vary based on room and floor but the majority of the balconies accommodate 2 chairs and a table, with that being the smallest. If you want a larger balcony you can make that one of your requests if/when you do online check-in.do all the studios have full balconies? and what are the best ones to request? will be staying may 10-15

Does anyone have a recent vlog of the Beach Club? We've been trying to work out where the garden view rooms are when you walk from the lobby area. Any BC resort videos from the last month would be great
We are hoping to be allocated a room well away from the lobby area. I don't mind even being closer to the quiet pool. I'm not a huge fan of the smell of cooked shellfish or large noisy areas in hotels and prefer some peace and quiet after being in the parks. We realise it's not always possible to get a room with a full balcony or a day bed but the full balcony would be appreciated. I'm crossing my fingers for a room close to Epcot with a view of Spaceship Earth or one of the buildings on WS.
Does anyone who has stayed at BCV post-renos remember how big the safes are? Are they the same ones that are currently in the BC rooms?
DH wants to bring his iPad Pro but I'm worried it won't fit in the safe. I know a regular iPad will fit, but the Pro is about 3" bigger in height and 2" bigger in width.
The villas building shares the same driveway as the regular resort. So a taxi will pick up in the same area for both buildings. If your staying at BCV and use an Uber or a cab, where do they pick you up? At the BC resort or at BCV? (Sorry, first timer)
