42 days Dee!! And guess who's going the same time???We will have a toast to you all in absentia with something green!! Sad I think I miss Teena by a week or 2.
Someone posted that we can call the reservation number and ask the CM to put near lobby on our reservation; worth a try!I actually recently asked this question as we too want to be near the lobby. I put 'near elevator' as my only request. We've been to BC a few times and didn't realize that there are another set of elevators apparently near the quiet pool. I think we'd like this area too, so I just left our online check in requests as 'near elevator'. We'd prefer lobby area, but would be happy with either elevator request.
Thank you for explainingIt may seem cheap, and it may have something to do with work at the resort, but the Agency that does those deals books rooms like a convention, and they are willing to share in the savings in booking a ton of rooms. I used that Agency several times, and will again this fall. I had no trouble. They gave me my Disney number immediately, and had no issue linking the reservation to my account, and no issue at the hotels or with tickets. For what it's worth, we like the style of the YC more than the Beach Club, and we really appreciated being the first to be picked up by the bus and dropped off when going to the MK early one morning. The bus normally goes to YC before BC.
Wrote you a messageCould you post the name of this agency... My husband and I would love to try the Yacht Club this fall!
My roomie?

In the morning the Ale & Compass lounge off the lobby has coffee(for mug refill) pastery, bagels, cereal, fruit etc. Someone posted on this thread Hurricane Hanna is now open for breakfast. Crews Cup lounge next to Yachtsman Steak House has some nice food at night. Love their burgers.I have another question
There's no QS in the YC, correct? Is there anywhere to fill up coffee and drinks at least? If we're on the DDP, where would we be using our refillable mugs?
Also- 2-7 of November- do you think Christmas decor will be up already? (In the BC/YC or in the parks at all?)
Thank you for explainingI still haven't finalized my dates but if all goes well, I think I'd prefer the YC.

So... This is new!!!
I don't know whether this is permanent or just a temporary trial, but good news, especially for Yacht Club guests
]
Thanks y'all!
I'm still on the lookout for an 8am adr and obviously everything hinges on getting the frozen fp. Just a few more days until I can nail it all down.![]()
Hope you have an incredible trip!!!
I have a wish list, somewhere, of pictures/info I want. I guess it is a "Wish I could find it" list now.
A couple of things if you see this and are able to fulfill the requests without interfering in the enjoyment of your vacation:
Current pool hours
Soft drink dispensers at the Marketplace and/or Hurricane Hanna's
I am working on getting the July activities schedule, but my source has not released it yet. You will probably be at the resort before I can post it for you.

Can't guarantee of course but as a previous poster said if all you can get is a later ADR go ahead and book it and show up at opening. As long as I have been listed on the early ADR list at the gate I have been let in and seated right away.
We had an 8:40 at Crystal Palace on our last trip. The seven of us showed up at 7:50. Let in at 8:00 and promptly seated. We were finished with our meal at 8:45.
I'm sorry that the dates changed and we won't meet you.My new December dates are 11/30-12/2, and Brandon is doing CP on 12/1 with NPH. It is now a solo trip (for now) and at Poly since the TA offer is sold out for BC...but you can consider the resort TBD because I am never "settled" at Poly...which is where I am now![]()
Thank you for posting the pictures. The beach still looks lovely, even with the fence.I thought I would post some of our pictures from last week.
We have had our mugs refilled by the bartender at Ale and Compass, but there have been reports that the bartender won't refill the mugs for health reasons.I have another question

TEENAHi Everybody. I haven't been on the boards since moving ... hurts too much. But today I went on and saw so many of my friends. I miss you all so much. I am adjusting to my "new normal" but miss my Florida life horribly.
Some good news though. After our week at Anna Maria Island (July 23-30), instead of flying home from Tampa, Jeanne, Lily and I are driving to Port Canaveral and hopping on the Disney Fantasy for a week. It will be Lily's first cruise and she is beyond excited. When I told her last week, she immediately starting packing and has been repacking and rearranging her pile of things to take ever since. I cannot tell you all how happy I am to be going back on board my happy place.
I miss everybody so much ... for 12 years I saw most of you every year or so and it became part of my life.
I am thrilled that I am going to meet up with some of you when I'm there with Lily in September!!! I wish more of you were going to be there at the same time!
I haven't posted pictures of the new house yet because Jeanne still has boxes everywhere. Hopefully before we head to Anna Maria Island she will have the place unpacked.
Hugs to all!!!!!!!!!
P.S. And my new business "The Grading Nanny" is taking off like crazy ... been busy all summer too since lots of the schools here go year round. Not as much fun as being at the BC but gives me money for my trips!!
