We're here at the YC! We just arrived last night and are staying in a nice GV room overlooking the wedding gazebo.

We'll be here until Tuesday, so just let me know if I can answer any questions while we're here! The resort looks beautiful as always and we're having a great stay so far. :)

I'll provide a full TR when we return.

Congrats on your anniversary trip, Dee!

Currently at BWI waiting for our plane to Orlando. Flight has been delayed several times. I'm afraid to post the current wait for fear the information will be instantly outdated. JetBlue has already said they'll print meal vouchers for everyone. Whenever this happens, I always tell my husband we should drive. He headed me off at the pass by commenting that we still wouldn't be there and couldn't walk around while driving.

So sorry that your flight is delayed. It looks like the inbound is on its way from FLL and due to arrive at BWI at 1:53 this afternoon.

I think that DIS has overtaken my thought process. When I started to read your post, I at first thought you were waiting at the Boardwalk Inn. :o

Hope you have a good trip; it shouldn't be much longer, before you are on your way!

LOL you updated me before the airline did. The meal vouchers don't work for alcohol, which just seems cruel.

The kids are all behaving and my oldest is working on her homework for next week, which is awesome. And the toddler will probably sleep through the flight at this point, so it's all good. I'm just happy to be getting down there today, whenever that happens to be!

If you want to check on updates, which can change as often as every few minutes, here you go:

When I first read this I thought "how is she at Boardwalk Inn waiting for a plane to Orlando . Maybe she meant waiting for the Magical Express?" Then I got my head out of my rear and realized you are most like at the Baltimore airport. I spend too much time on the DIS.......

That's great - thanks!

LOL. Creepy chair, clown pool, and all, I'd rather be at the Boardwalk. I'm tempted to leave the gate area and go through security again just for a change of pace. On the plus side, I've walked almost 9000 steps just keeping the toddler happy.

And a PSA - Auntie Anne's doesn't accept the meal vouchers. But if you're eight and are only accompanied by your tween sister, the cashier will think you are a penniless orphan and give you a free pretzel dog.

Thanks everyone for sharing the excitement about our upcoming anniversary trip to the Yacht Club. This is only the second trip we have taken without the boys since Nate was born 17 years ago. Mark has not been to Disney since 2013. Meanwhile, I have been 4 times since then... August 2014 DIS meet, Ben's class trip in June 2015, August 2015 DIS meet and last week's trip to visit Teena.

It is fun to see him really getting into it already. Although the trip is 9 months away, Mark designed his Magic Band last night- orange, with the inscription 1986 2016 to commemorate our 30th Anniversary. How sweet is that??? Don't answer- rhetorical question- but feel free to like this post if you want to say "AWWWW!"

But I wonder if he will be asked "What is your PROPER number?"

I am RUNNING over to Auntie Anne's pretzel stand right NOW with my best hang dog look and a counterfeit voucher from Jet Blue!

Is there a free tour of either YC or BC Resort? I have taken the free resort tours at Boardwalk and at Boma/Jiko & Sanaa. I've heard of a free resort tour at Wilderness Lodge, but I haven't gotten the chance to take that one yet. So anyway, I'd love to do something like this at BC/YC. Can anyone lead me to details please?

I would love that, but I have never heard of one.

I will give you my favorite piece of resort trivia, though. If you go to the main elevator bank (the 4 lifts) near the Beach Club Marketplace or near the Yacht Club lobby, only 3 of the doors have working elevators. Go to the other side of the wall and you will find pay phones.

Fake! Fake! Fake!Fake!Fake!

Awwww!

And LOL regarding possible request for Mark's "Proper Name". :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I'm just checking in now that we're booked! We're doing a split stay (I'm finally bringing my soon-to-be 12 year-old niece for her first trip!!!!) and our Yacht Club portion will be May 24th through the 27th. We're also staying at Riverside for 3 nights upon arrival, and I added on a last night at Pop (last minute, thinking there might be a 24 hour party so why pay $300+ a night when we won't be there???). Our total trip will be 7 nights, 8 days. This will be a bit of a pain but I had to be at Yacht Club part of the time as I love it at YC/BC and HAVE to do part of every stay there. Thinking the niece will be ecstatic to have time at that pool, too; and we have two pool days. :) SO EXCITED.
