I walked by BC/YC on Sunday, January 5th. Stormalong Bay was still open. Anyone there that can tell us if it has closed down yet?

I don’t know for sure but have a feeling once the marathon weekend over it will close.

I’m here now and I’ve been told by multiple CMs (including those working at the pool) that Stormalong Bay will close on the 12th, as they’re keeping it open for marathon weekend.

Did the CM's offer any information at all, as to what they are planning for renovation to SAB? I hope new and higher lounge chairs! They are too low to the ground.

We were told several months ago by a cast member that the pool needs some serious maintenance work - including pumps, and other areas that have been failing on occasion. Sounds like some things are due or overdue to be replaced and updated. Not sure that new chairs are in the plans, but you never know! She also said there were rumors (not fact) that they might look to add a couple new cabanas during the refurb. Looking forward to getting our favorite pool all fixed up and ready to go again later this year.....!

I can ask later today - my daughter is running the half marathon right now and I’m just happy all the hot tubs will be available!

We are staying at the Yacht Club Aug. 30- September 6. We have also booked a one night stay off property August 29. Does anyone know if we could drop our luggage off with bell services the day before we check in?

How much do you tip daily? Staying club level at Beach Club. Is $5 per day enough or should it be $10 per day? There's just my husband and my self

You tip what you can afford. When I stay at the YC I tip 5 to 10 dollars a day based upon how good mouskeeping has been.

It was reported by a guest that all the lounge chairs were piled up last night and the pool is closed as of today. SAB pool hours were also removed from the resort TV’s.

There will be Activities posted daily, due to the pool closure. Here are today’s activities for Monday 1/13.

My understanding is you wear headphones to hear the music. So it’s silent to anyone not wearing them.

Sounds fun! And I bet it's not really quiet - probably some laughing and silliness involved!!

@focusondisney covered it. It is often referenced as a Silent Disco or Silent Rave. And yes it does involve some silliness based on the dance moves of the Guests.
