Checked in this morning to a Nature view on the fourth floor. This is the first time we have stayed here and we are blown away. Property is gorgeous and our room walks out to a fireplace and chairs. Dinner at Whispering Canyon was delicious as well. Can’t wait to check out more of the property.

We are so excited to be checking in at WL next week! This is our first trip with our 15 month son. Can anyone there now report back on if there is a tub in the bathroom? We are staying in a King Nature View room if that matters. The room renderings make it hard to tell if it’s shower floor or a full bathtub. Also, did Disney switch out the mini refrigerators for beverage coolers? Thank you in advance!

Yes, they have a tub in the bathroom. I’m not sure what the difference is between a mini fridge and beverage cooler. This doesn’t have a freezer so I assume it’s just a cooler.

Thank you for the quick response! I read somewhere that Disney was switching out fridges for “beverage coolers”. They look similar but they don’t get as cold. People were saying their food/milk were spoiling. We’re planning on buying milk and keeping it in the fridge so I’m hoping it’s cold enough. Thanks again for your help and Enjoy your trip!!

IDK how WL is doing it, but at least at CSR having a King makes having shower only much more likely per a couple whose vlogs on WDW rooms I follow. They had a King room there with a shower and checked with the front desk and were told that most rooms with a King only have a shower. There may be some with a tub (and it may be different at other resorts), but with only a King bed I would not 100% count on a tub. Better to check with the front desk to make sure - before you go to your room as I have heard that in COVID times they are more hesitant to change if you have entered the room.

Good point...I will call and see what the setup is and request a tub. And then confirm with the front desk. Thank you for the tip!

For those of you who just checked in today, and will be this week, pictures show a Keurig in the room, is it a regular Keurig, that uses the usual pods? Or does it use the flat tea bag looking things like the pots in the renovated Pop rooms?

Checking in in two weeks! So excited to finally be at WL, and want to be prepared with DW’s favorite coffee pods to avoid spending too much time in line for an overpriced cup of coffee on Main Street...Lol!

Standard Keurig with k-cups

Nice! Does anyone know if the Keurig's are in all the rooms? Do they provide K-cups as they used to provide coffee for the other coffee makers?

Yes, they are in all the hotel side rooms. Yes, they provide a supply of regular and decaf k cups. They will bring more at any time if needed, just call Housekeeping from your room phone.

I tried searching this and came up empty handed.

Are they booking Deluxe rooms at the moment? I am trying to plan for 2022 and Deluxe Rooms are unavailable for every date I search on the Disney site. I know that some of the amenities are not available but just want to know if the rooms are out of service as well.

FYI - I saw this morning that Deluxe Rooms with Club Level Access are available for booking :)

They are basically coolers. They are powered but don't get very cold, and if I had milk I would also put a bag of ice in there.

SOOOOO excited to be staying at WL again!! I convinced DH that we needed a Disney get away in November and that I'd pay for it with a bonus I have coming up (since we're out of DVC points) and I'd keep it on the "cheap"....well, as cheap as we do Disney... :rotfl2:

our dates our Nov 10-14 which is over Veterans holiday so we know it will be busy but those are our free dates too and we're fine with it!

I originally could only find a BWI room so I booked it.....but I like to get QS breakfast and bring it back to the room and BWI doesn't have a lot of great options so I kept checking the website. Then I found a "2 queen nature view room" @ WL and it was cheaper so I booked it!

and then DH asked the other night if our room had a couch so he could watch tv and drink wine after a long day in the park (can you tell that staying at CCV has spoiled him??) .....of course they don't, but wouldn't you know, they had a 1 br at BRV so I snagged that!

Now, my "lets go to Disney cheap budget" has been blown but I don't care! :rolleyes1:rotfl2:

There is no cheap Disney, so you might as well go big!

By chance, would you happen to know if CCV studio also has a Keurig?
