Thanks everyone for the info on the food. I think we may try Geyser Point on arrival day and Roaring Forks will be a breakfast place and maybe a quick supper place. I did get a breakfast ADR to Whispering Canyon.

I am at BRV right now and the food options have been great. Ordered from Roaring Fork on our arrival day (around 1:30) and had no problem finding a table in the shade. We have ordered lunch to go from Geyser Point twice and eaten at the pool, although there were seats available in the restaurant. It seems to get busy in the evenings, particularly before the Electrical Water Pageant.

Are they having the electrical water pageant now? Last I heard was it wasn’t running.

Hello! We will be there in April for 3 nights. One park day is Animal Kingdom and the other is Magic Kingdom. How early should we be at the stop for each? Is bus or boat better for MK? Thank you!!

The boat is the nicest way to go to MK. It starts running 1/2 hour before park opening. If you want to get to MK sooner than you can take the bus.

I would be at the bus stop about an hour before park opening if you want to get to the parks early.

So excited to be staying here for the first time in November! We have a Courtyard/King bed category booked, but I don't see this on Touring Plans room finder. I'm hoping to be on a high floor overlooking the pool. Are Courtyard/Kind beds in this area?

The king bed category is new and since the resort is still closed, no one knows where these rooms are located. But if you booked a courtyard view then you should receive room that overlooks the main pool. Just request a high floor in hopes of getting your request.

Just be aware that the top floor has more closed balconies - look at pictures on TouringPlans. The railings are closed off so you won't be able to sit and have a full view.

Hi all! Trying to get back to WL in Nov of this year. Any guesses on when Christmas decor will go up? Our earliest possible week is 10/30-11/6. Not sure if we’d get Halloween & Christmas or be a week too early for the latter?

You are going to be too early for Christmas decorations at the WL if you are leaving on the 6th. They normally hit after the 15th or the week after depending on the decoration lottery schedule every year.

Yes, Christmas is up and parties use to start the first week in November at magic kingdom. But then it takes awhile to decorate the resorts, as Dave said, on a lottery system. We have stayed at WL for thanksgiving, started with 2 weeks before for years, now stay the week after .
anyway, the tree has been up as early as the Monday, the week before thanksgiving and one year as late as the Tuesday of thanksgiving week. I would look at nov 15 or 16th and try to stay till nov. 22nd. For lower crowds and some decorations

We just returned from a stay at Copper Creek. The quick service window outside of Geyser Point is closed. We were told the window has been closed since WDW reopened. We also were told that the restaurant could prepare meals to go.

Like many Disney restaurants at the moment, the menu is limited, mostly burgers. Still, we enjoyed the one meal we had at Geyser Point.
