When they stopped adding commemorative bricks to Disney's Walk Around the World in 2000, I was so disappointed that I didn't get one for myself. I was wondering how many DISers own one and where is it located? ::MickeyMo

We have one and it is located down near the Contemporary close to the elephant toparies. Somewhere I have a photo, if I can find it later I will post it.

I have two. One is at the Magic Kingdom entrance, just to the left of the MK cornerstone (the oval section with the marble bricks). My second one is at the TTC, between the monorail stations. It has the WDW 2000 logo on it. Unfourtunately, I do not have a digital photo of either.

We have one. We bought it in 1994. It's on the way to the GF boat launch. I'm getting goosebumps because my son and I leave for WDW in the morning and plan on going to EMH at MK tomorrow night (and maybe visiting our brick if it's not too dark!). WooHoo!!!

:earboy2: Oh...I remember seeing those for sale...wish I had done that now. What a great legacy to have at Disney

I, too, wish I would have done a brick. I have absolutely no desire to do Leave a Legacy. I think those granite statues in the front of EPCOT belong in a cemetary!! They look like big tombstones!!

We have two. One granite from the 25th anniversary and one from 1999 for my father.

We got one in 1995. When you're leaving the bus stop, it's about ten rows in and five bricks over from the right edge of the path. E14061 – look for it on your next trip.

We have one there too right on the dock overlooking our "honeymoon suite" @ GF :bride: :groom: :wizard:

I too am not impressed by the leave a legacy "tombstones" at Epcot. They look like they could be removed at any time, while the Walk Around the World bricks look like a permanent part of WDW. In the literature you all received when buying your bricks, did Disney say your brick will remain forever, or is it promised for a finite # of years?

It was only promised for a finite number of years. I'm pretty sure it was ten years. Oh, gosh, so my ten years is just about up. I hope they were just kidding and that it will remain forever.

Our brick is on the walkway from the TTC to the Poly.

I thought they said it was in for 10 years. After that you can take the brick home or pay to have placed back in the ground. Not sure if any of this is correct though.

We have one in this area also - in front of the elephant topiaries. I LOVE that brick!!!

I wonder if they'll ever put spots up for sale again. I'd buy one for my family in a milli-second! Why not in front of Epcot or Animal Kingdom? ::MickeyMo

I so wanted to do one of these. I waited until my son was born so we could do it and he would be in it, but they stopped selling them before he was born :(

We bought one in 1994 and the brick is located right in front of The Guest Relations Wiindows at the Magic Kingdom. A great spot!

I have 2, one by the MK & the other is a 2000 brick since I got married in 2000.

The first one just has my maiden name & my home town (there are a few in that area from my home town too) & the second I added my future husband on it & our married name & future wedding date. Good thing we got married.

Have they contacted you about renewing your spot? Other posters state that your brick "expires" at 10 years. I'd really be interested to hear!
