While it would be nice to have access to the beverage stations when the store is closed, they would also need to block off access to the food stations.
Is anyone familiar with AoA after hours? Is it possible to access their beverage stations when the food stations are closed?
I would guess if we were getting new coke machines, they would have been installed when the refurb was taking place and the machines were behind walls. Looks like the same ones (or at least same style) as were previously there. I looked too, hoping we'd see the new ones!!

In our experience (as recently as June) there is no access to the beverage stations after the food stations are closed. Everything gets locked at 11:00 (I think the Ink & Paint shop closes even earlier -- maybe 10:00). There is the small refill station by the Big Blue pool which is open 24/7.

I don't think they have enough space foe the number of freestyle machines they'd need to be able to accommodate everyone. They all get busy now and that's without waiting for someone to tap through all the options.
At AoA, the gift shop, while adjacent to the food court, has a defined entrance and *could* be closed off from the food court with a gate if they wanted to. At Pop, there's no way to do that.

Also, unless the configuration was changed greatly, access to the drink stations includes access to the full food court, grab n go, etc. It would require a change in configuration to make the drink stations available when the food court is closed and from the few pics I've seen it does not appear that happened with this refurbishment.
