Sorry to report that we got a message on the TV and on the phone that the everything food court was going to be refurbished from September 29 till end of November so everything looks exactly the same as it did yesterday and the day before that

Well this isn't the news I wanted to hear but I definitely knew this was a possibility. If Scrappinginontario or anyone can tell me if the microwave is available to use I would greatly appreciate it. I know the drink stations aren't as plentiful. But we often utilize the microwave. Thanks.

I'm wondering if it was originally supposed to go through November but the staggered closure with the store confused someone/something with the announcements. The original timeline seemed short to me especially for Disney time.

You may receive an email but I would not count on it. I had 2 separate reservations during the current refurbishment period and did not receive any emails for either reservation, to advise if the closure. My reservations were booked early in 2024 and around April.

A food court refurbishment is normally lengthy and I’ll say I was surprised they were only planning on it taking 2 months for Pop. To the best of my knowledge, the former food court was the original so over 20 years old.

While disappointing for those who were hoping to visit after the refurbishment, having spent a 10 day trip there during it, it’s not ideal but not a bad experience either. Also, the proximity to AoA and the Skyliner opens many other dining options.

It’s not what any of us want (and many of us had trips booked prior to the refurbishment being announced) but I will say, the Pop staff have the Mobile Order option working well and for us it was a minor inconvenience.

Thank you @Scappinginontario for your encouraging words and recent experiences. My husband and I arrive in 27 days and I was prepared for this news. We are not mobile order people and we utilize the food court daily on our trips but we love Pop and the skyliner so we will just have to adjust things a bit. And yes AOA will definitely be an option for us. I will still have some pain and challenges from my knee replacement surgery and extra resort walking wasn't in my original plan but I will be fine. I will be at Pop and Disney. I appreciate you and anyone else's helpful advice and experiences till we arrive.

You can only get into the food court from the outside doors meaning not from inside classic hall. The good news is you can order at the three station counters as opposed to mobile ordering only and then go through with the cashier. Also there is now two of the stations with the pop dispensing and coffee as opposed to one when it was only mobile ordering. I will post some pictures I took

I’m seeing the food court open on Facebook with photos. You can’t go via gift shop to get in is all.
