This is really helpful information!! Thank you for sharing it here!

We plan on going to Riviera for a QS meal at least once if not more during our trip so I appreciate your input here.

I went over to Riviera a couple times on my trip last month for their QS and it was very tasty. It was very easy to do, especially the one time I did a mobile order on the way back from Epcot and picked it up and took it back to Pop to eat. They definitely had Freestyle machines. It was my first experience with them. I am a fan of Dr Pepper and usually bring it with me to have in the room before I head out each day. I like my caffeine cold and bubbly!

At the risk of reopening the house cleaning debate, we are thinking about declining mouse keeping this trip. We can just call for more towels, right? That's really my primary concern.

Here now. this morning I dialed zero and got guest services. Asked for more coffee cups, creamer (I bring my own coffee) wash clothes, towels and blanket. About 10 minutes later guy from housekeeping showed up. He asked if I had trash or towels to take and took them for me.

Question about the rooms at Pop - do all of the standard rooms have the queen size table bed or only some? TIA!

We just hit the front desk button. I think that’s the button? I’m not even sure, but someone answers immediately and we just request whatever we need. I feel badly as we end up calling every day or two for something. Someone from housekeeping usually shows up 5 to 10 minutes later with what we need, so it’s been great.
That's the call center.

Even if it is the call center, my experience has been the same as @Disneylover99 and our requests have been honoured and items delivered within a short amount of time. I get my tip $ ready prior to calling as they normally show up very quickly after I've made my request.

Good to know, thanks. Do you have to request no housekeeping at check-in? Or can you just call, if you check-in online?

This is the first I've heard of that! That's really good to know.

Off to give it a try!

Update: I do not have an option available right now to check-in. Will try again later.

I grabbed the info off of my MDE account online check-in for those who are interested. It's very straightforward and even shows the amount of money that will be put on a gift card for you. We have an 8 night reservation so our gift card (that I will *not* be taking :D) would be for $70.

We have dinner ADR's at Ohana on our arrival day, but we do not land until late afternoon. Will DME allow us to board and go to the Poly if our stay is at Pop? Or is our best option an Uber/Lyft?

No.

Or is our best option an Uber/Lyft?

Depends on your definition of best. Quickest and easiest = Uber/Lyft
Cheapest = Bus to MK then boat or monorail to Poly.

Or is our best option an Uber/Lyft?
Definitely.

But if you do want to use Disney transport I suggest Disney Skyliner to Hollywood Studios/Bus from Hollywood Studios to Polynesian.

If you use the Magic Kingdom route you will have the "hassle" of going through MK Security before you can access the boat or Monorail.

Also if you use the Magic Kingdom route you will have two "waits"-one for the bus at POP and one for the Monorail or boat.

If you use the Hollywood Studios route, since Disney Skyliner is continuous load, you will only have one "wait"(the bus at Hollywood Studios).
