Don’t be worried. How comfortable are the Murphy beds? I'm excited for the queen sized beds but a bit worried about the comfort of the murphy bed.

It's the same mattress on both beds. We stayed there shortly after the first rooms were refurbed and they were super comfy. That may have changed in the last 2 years, though. How comfortable are the Murphy beds? I'm excited for the queen sized beds but a bit worried about the comfort of the murphy bed.
Ok. Thanks for letting me know.Nope.
Nope. They use Swiffer.

The floors have always been so clean every time we‘ve checked into Pop, no scuff marks that I’ve noticed, which is great of course, but I’ve always wondered how they get the scuff marks that we’ve created out. I have to assume it takes extra scrubbing.
Well then I need a better Swiffer at home. Lol.No scrubbing, just a Swiffer.

Take a look at @RaySharpton post I quoted from last November. He was kid enough to post pictures of the fountain machines and beverage coolers for us!
Sadly the POP beverage selection is pretty limited and they don’t have Coke freestyle machines.Basically your looking at fountain machines that dispense Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, Orange Fanta, Minute Maid Lemonade and Powerade. They also have 4 flavors of Gold Peak Tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Not sure if I’m missing anything else?
When we stayed at the POP in June 2017, we ate at AoA foodcourt a few times because they had Mellow Yellow and I believe Cherry Coke.
For our trip in July, our current plans are taking our refillable mugs with us to HS/Epcot and using the freestyle machines at the Caribbean Beach and/or Riviera Resort (think they have FS machines?) and filling them up, to or from, those parks. We’re a Pepsi family and honestly rarely even drink regular Pepsi, so the added options like Cherry Coke or Mr. Pibb would offer us much needed change.
Does anyone know if there are any places on the Boardwalk that offer Freestyle Machines that can be used with resort mugs. That might also be a nice option and let us visit the boardwalk too! We miss taking that walk from our 2 stays at the Swan Dolphin.
Has anyone put an actual full size crib in the rooms with both beds down? Is it possible? Also, how are Skyliner lines in the morning?
eta: do the rooms still have tubs?
What is the magic express web site to update flight information and phone number? I know it is some where one this thread, but I can’t find it, had both on old computer saved, but lost them. Thanks
Does anyone know where the outdoor movies are now held during the Hippy Dippy pool refurb? TIA!
You’ve requested a great location. I wouldn’t worry much about ‘view’ as you won’t really see much from your room in most locations. Pop is more is a ‘motel’ style entry so there is a walkway outside your window then a railing and very often vegetation after that. I would recommend requesting more based on location than view.I just booked our first stay at Pop. We are regulars at Fort Wilderness, but this April trip will just be 3 days tacked onto a conference DW has in Orlando, so not worth hauler the camper 1000 miles each way. (We are going to the Fort for 14 days with our camper in October. We have stayed at a number of other resorts on-site (AS-Sp, CBR, Saratoga Springs, OKW), but we have never even been to Pop (or AoA).
I'm pretty excited about this stay (someplace new and the Skyliner). Question for everyone.
What are everyone's favorite section and why? I have a "lake view" and "60's building" requested on MDE, but I can easily change that. I like water views and the 60's seemed central and closer to the bridge to AoA and the Skyliner. The Hippy Dippy pool should be back open for our trip (end of April).

Thanks for the input on the location. I've seen a couple of places where the pool refurb is supposed to be 1/13/20 (today) - 3/31/20. Obviously there are a lot of factors that could impact the end date. It's not a huge deal as we don't spend much (if any) time at the pools anyway. Too many things to see at the parks, especially on these short trips. The length of the Hippy Dippy refurbishment has not been announced so it may or may not be open by your stay.
Did you let them know immediately that you weren’t pleased with the cleanliness of your room? My experience at Pop has been that they are very quick to respond to any concerns we’ve had.I wasn’t too thrilled with my room two weeks ago but I still booked a room for me and my oldest daughter in June. With the Florida Sun and Fun offer, it came to $152 a night. We will only be visiting HS and Epcot, so that price for a Skyliner resort was a no brainer.
I just hope my room is clean this time.
